摘要: A weatherstrip includes a welt section in a substantially letter U shape cross section attached to a flange, and a trim lip formed on an outer surface of an inner side wall section to cover an end edge of a vehicular body trim. The flange is held from both sides by holding lips extending obliquely toward a summit section from the inner surfaces of the respective side wall sections. A projection section is projected on a back side of the outer holding lip. When the flange is fitted, the outer holding lip is struck on the projection section and positioned.

摘要: A sealing system seals the perimeter of insulated hinged double doors. The sealing system includes first and second exterior seals made of a monolithic, resilient and elastically deformable material. The first exterior seal has an elongated lobe for contacting the exterior of said door, and both of the first and second exterior seals have an interior lobe which contact one another when the doors are closed. The sealing system further includes first and second inner seals made of a monolithic, resilient and elastically deformable material, each having a pair of spaced-apart sealing lobes. The inner seals are mounted to respective doors in a staggered fashion, such that the respective pairs of sealing lobes interact with one another to create a redundant, weather-resistant and thermally robust seal when the double doors are closed.

摘要: Disclosed is a door frame for a vehicle that may be coupled with a bright molding provided for improving aesthetic features of the vehicle. The door frame may include an outer frame at which the bright molding is mounted and an inner frame. The outer frame may be disposed to an external side of the vehicle and have a shape in accord with a shape of the bright molding. The inner frame may be disposed at an internal side of the vehicle with respect to the outer frame and have a shape in accord with the shape of the outer frame. The shapes of the bright molding and the outer frame may be formed such that the bright molding is directly mounted to the outer frame without aid from any additional coupling member.

摘要: A motor vehicle door has an outer module and an inner module. The outer module contains an outer panel and an inner frame part to which an impact support and hinges can be fixed. For the motor vehicle door to have a simplified configuration and a low weight while having a high degree of rigidity, the inner frame part of the outer module is formed by a single-piece diecast part made of a metal alloy. The inner module contains an upper encircling window frame and a lower assembly support sheet. The upper window frame is configured as a single-piece diecast part made of a metal alloy. A lower frame part of the upper window frame is connected to the upper border region of the assembly support sheet with a longitudinally running hollow support being formed, and the upper window frame is connected locally to the inner frame part.

摘要: A door weather strip structure includes a first weather strip and a second weather strip, fitted into a door sash. A seal block kept in elastic contact with a retainer of the door sash is provided in the vicinity of a connection between a molded part which is a portion of the second weather strip, corresponding to the roof of an automobile, and an extruded part on the side of a pillar, positioned on a side opposite from an extruded part on the side of a center pillar. The seal block prevents water intruding on the molded part from flowing down through the gap passage formed among the first weather strip, the second weather strip, and the door sash making ingress into the interior of the automobile through the lower part of the front pillar.

摘要: A weather strip has a base portion and seal lips. The base portion has a base bottom portion attached to a door frame, side wall portions extending from substantially opposite sides of the base bottom portion, and a bridge portion connecting the opposite side wall portions. A hollow portion is formed by these portions. An exterior-side seal lip is provided to extend from a substantially border portion between the exterior-side side wall portion and the bridge portion. An interior-side seal lip is provided to extend from the bridge portion more interior than the exterior-side seal lip. In the bridge portion, the opposite sides of the root portion of the interior-side seal lip are formed into thin portions respectively. Thus, when the door is closed, even if the gap is narrowed, the interior-side seal lip is bent and the bridge portion is deformed easily in the thin portions so that the repulsion stress is restrained from increasing conspicuously.

摘要: A pillar outer of a front pillar of an automotive vehicle comprises a stiffener and a flange portion connecting to a pillar inner. A peripheral portion of a windshield is fixed to a front face (a face orienting outwardly of the vehicle) of the flange portion via a plastically deformable member which can be deformed easily and plastically when a load is applied thereto in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. When an impact generated when an obstacle comes to interfere with the windshield is transmitted to the plastically deformable member, the plastically deformable member is easily press collapsed by the load, and the impact that is to be received by the windshield and the obstacle can be absorbed through the impact absorbing action. In addition, since the front face of the peripheral portion of the windshield is disposed flush with an outer wall portion of the pillar outer, a connecting portion between the two members is made flush with those members to thereby reduce the air drag thereat.

摘要: First and second fins extending toward a second-closing door are provided at an upper end of a side-edge seal of a first-closing door of a double door of a vehicle. When the first-closing door is closed, the first fin overlaps the body-side seal, and the second fin overlaps an outer surface of the vehicle body outside the body-side seal. When the second-closing door is closed, an inner surface of the second-closing door abuts on the body-side seal and extends along the side-edge seal. A seal portion of the second-closing door abuts on the outer surface of the vehicle body outside the body-side seal and extends along the side-edge seal. The first and second fins are deformed independently from each other.
