摘要: Various examples of park brake interface modules which are utilized as human machine interfaces (HMI) in vehicles are provided. In one example, a park brake interface module for a vehicle includes an actuation member mounted to an electromechanical switch to actuate the park brake. The actuation member includes a finger pad opposite the front surface and the actuation member is movable between a brake apply position and a brake release position to actuate the vehicle park brake. In another example, the actuation member is pivotally mounted to the electromechanical switch device and the actuation member is pivotable between the brake apply position and the brake release positions to actuate the park brake.

摘要: The invention relates to an operating unit (10) for an electrical apparatus, in particular for a vehicle component such as, for example, a heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning installation, which is provided with a housing (12), an operating strip (18) and a support element (32) for the operating strip (18), which is arranged in the housing (12). The operating strip (18) is mounted on the support element (32) about a tilt axis that extends transversely to the longitudinal extension of the operating strip (18). The support element (32) is tiltable in at least one pivoting direction and about a pivot axis (34) that extends parallel to the longitudinal extension of the operating strip (18) from a rest position, in which the support element (32) is elastically prestressed, into a pivot position, which is detected by a pivot position sensor (42, 44). Two tilt detection sensors (52, 54) detect a tilting of the operating strip (18) about the tilt axis when the operating strip (18) is actuated by manually pressing against an operating panel (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) of the operating strip (18). Finally, the operating unit (10) is provided with an evaluation and operating unit for receiving the signals of the pivot position sensor (42, 44) and the tilt detection sensors (52, 54) and for determining, on the basis of the signals emitted by the tilt detection sensors (52, 54), the operating field (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) on which, upon manual actuation of the operating strip (18), the finger of one hand is applied with an actuating force required for adopting the pivot position of the support element (32) and for triggering the apparatus function that is associated with the determined operating field (22, 24, 26, 28, 30).

摘要: A vehicle shifter assembly having a housing rotatably supporting a monostable toggle knob accessible to a vehicle operator. A processor enabled printed circuit board is incorporated into the housing and, upon actuation of the knob, instructs a gear shift condition to a display component. The housing can be incorporated into any of a variety of locations accessible to the vehicle operator, including being integrated into the steering wheel so that, and upon rotation of the wheel, the housing or display is continuously reoriented so as to maintain an upright position as viewed by the operator.

摘要: An in-vehicle display apparatus includes a control unit for executing a selected application feature for controlling a control object device. The selected application feature may be one of a plurality of application features that is selected by a driver by using switches on a portion of a vehicle steering wheel. The in-vehicle display apparatus displays output contents of the application feature in a main display area together with vehicle information. When no operation is performed for controlling the application feature for a predetermined period of time, or when the driver selects an other application feature, the control unit executes the application feature that is currently running in a background, treating it as a background (BG) application feature, and displays a BG icon for a BG application feature associated switch that is operable for an operation of the BG application feature that is currently running in the background.

The operating unit includes at least one touch screen, at least one rotary knob that is arranged on the touchscreen and at least one shaft that extends through the touchscreen and is connected in a non-rotatable manner to the rotary knob. In order to simplify operation of the operating unit via haptic feedback from the operating unit, the operating unit comprises at least one electromagnetic latching arrangement that is connected to the shaft and renders it possible to latch different rotary positions of the rotary knob in a non-contact manner.

摘要: A rocker switching control element for electrical sliding roofs on a vehicle overhead panel has an actuation rocker formed as a switch with switching positions and is arranged on a substantially planar control panel. The actuation rocker is recessed such that it does not project beyond the panel edge region. The transition between the panel edge region and the actuation rocker is formed with the panel edge region forming over a first width a goblet-like edge set back by a first depth, and an adjoining edge, separated by a gap of width, of the actuation rocker, which edge is recessed by more than the first depth in the non-actuated state and set further back continuously over a second width by a second depth. The recess is shaped overall such that inadvertent actuation of the actuation rocker by an object significantly larger than a human finger is prevented.
