    摘要: The invention relates to a vehicle seat with a seat part 1 and a backrest 2, wherein the angle formed between the seat part 1 and the backrest 2 can be set, wherein the backrest 2 consists of a backrest base 3 facing the seat part 1 and of a backrest upper part 4 adjoining the backrest base 3, wherein the backrest upper part 4 can be pivoted with respect to the backrest base 3 about a substantially horizontally aligned pivot axis 5, wherein the angular position of the backrest upper part 4 with respect to the backrest base 3 can be set with respect to the seat part 1 independently of the angular position of the backrest base 3, with a first locking device, by means of which the tilt of the backrest base 3 with respect to the seat part 1 can be fixed in at least two positions, wherein there is an operating lever 6 which operates the first locking device mechanically, with a second locking device 7, by means of which the tilt of the backrest upper part 4 with respect to the backrest base 3 can be fixed in at least two positions, wherein there is a switch 8 which operates the second locking device 7 and, for this, is in active connection with a pneumatic control element 9 and at least one pneumatic actuator element 10, wherein the switch 8 is integrated in the operating lever 6.

    摘要: An assembly including a support housing and an actuator device. The actuator device includes an extendable initiator cup including at least one non-random fold and at least in part defining a storage chamber containing a reactive charge reactable to produce reaction products. The extendable initiator cup longitudinally extends from a first length to a second, greater length upon reaction initiation of the reactive charge. The extendable initiator cup is at least partially disposed within a longitudinally extending bore of the support housing. The support housing is effective to limit lateral expansion of the extendable initiator cup upon reaction initiation of the reactive charge. The assembly can include an electrical conductive member or an electrical switch. The extendable initiator cup can extend to sever the electrical conductive member or disengage the electrical switch, thereby interrupting the conduction of electricity through an electrical system. Alternatively, the extendable initiator cup can extend to engage the electrical switch thereby allowing the conduction of electricity through an electrical system.

    摘要: A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion assembly for supporting an occupant seated thereon and a seat back cushion assembly for supporting the back of an occupant seated on the seat cushion assembly. An adjusting mechanism is operatively embodied in one of the first and second mounting assemblies and is constructed and arranged to enable the cushion assembly mounted by the one mounting assembly to be moved in opposite directions through a range of adjustable positions with respect to the assembly on which the one mounting assembly mounts the cushion assembly. The adjusting mechanism also includes a locking and releasing device. A vehicle crash sensing system is operatively connected with the adjusting mechanism and is constructed and arranged to provide control of the movement of the cushion assembly mounted by the one mounting assembly in response to the sensing of a crash condition which occurs while said locking device is in the releasing position.
