    摘要: An insulation system for an aircraft fuselage uses a plurality of stringers extending longitudinally. An insulation blanket is configured for installation on the stringers and a plurality of stringer clips are attached to and extend from an outboard side of the insulation blanket. Each stringer clip has a connecting flange engaged to a cover of the insulation blanket. A first attachment arm extends outboard from a first end of the connecting flange and terminates in a first hook resiliently engaging the stringer. A second attachment arm extends outboard from a second end of the connecting flange and terminates in a second hook resiliently engaging the stringer.

The clip system includes a first clamp member including an adjustment arm and a first engagement arm, and a second clamp member including a sleeve and a second engagement arm. The sleeve is configured to adjustably retain the adjustment arm to allow the first clamp member and the second clamp member to be moveably adjusted. The first engagement arm and the second engagement arm are configured to securely clamp portions of the insulation blanket and the frame therebetween.

    摘要: A mounting assembly for mounting a sound-deadening body to a fuselage of an aircraft and a method for attaching a sound-deadening body to a fuselage of an aircraft using the mounting assembly is disclosed herein. In a non-limiting embodiment, the mounting assembly includes, but is not limited to, a retaining member that is configured to engage the sound-deadening body. The mounting assembly further includes an isolating member that is engaged with the retaining member. The isolating member is configured for connection to the fuselage and is further configured to diminish transmission of vibration from the fuselage to and through the retaining member, and therefore to reduce the transmission of sound into the cabin.

    摘要: A mounting clip may be provided that is configured to be secured to a stiffener and provide attachment of external components to the stiffener. In one example, the mounting clip includes a frame with a base and legs. Opposing engagement members extend from the legs. The opposing engagement members each include a pair of deformable flexures and a pad, which engages a surface of the stiffener. The stiffener may be inserted into a channel defined by engagement members and translated upwards, thus, translating the pads upward and inward. Subsequently, the pads and deformable flexures provide a compressive clamping stress on the stiffener and therefore permanently secure the mounting clip to the stiffener.

The switch member includes a receiver portion having a post opening defined therein and a switch portion. The housing includes a lower opening. The post opening includes a removing portion that is aligned with the lower opening when the switch member is in the removing position and a fastening portion that is aligned with the post opening when the switch member is in the fastening position. The system also includes a male fastener assembly having a post with a slot therein. The post is received through the lower opening in the housing and the post opening so that the slot is aligned with the channel. The slot receives a portion of the receiver portion when the switch member is in the fastening position.
