摘要: Certain aspects of the technology disclosed involve a container for delivery by drone (e.g., an unmanned aerial vehicle). The container can include a coupling mechanism to lock and unlock a package attached to the drone based on a tension applied to the coupling mechanism. The package can include sidewalls affixed to a top wall. The sidewalls can include securing mechanisms to be secured to a bottom wall of the container. A rigid extremity can be a contiguous extension of any of the sidewalls and extend below a lower surface of the sidewalls. The rigid extremity can include a malleable contour proximate to a corner of the container. The malleable contour can extend from a base of the rigid extremity through the sidewall. An aperture in the top wall can be configured for a inserting member of a coupling mechanism.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a parachute deployment system. The system may include a deployment spring arranged on a launch platform with a parachute that is foldable and positionable on an opposite side of the deployment spring from the launch platform. The system may also include a bridle line attached to the parachute, and a lanyard line having a first end and a second end. The first end of the lanyard line may be attached to the deployment spring, and the second end of the lanyard line may be attached to the launch platform. The system may also include a trigger system configured to initiate deployment of the parachute. Upon deployment, the deployment spring may be configured to launch the parachute and the bridle line substantially perpendicular to the launch platform. After deployment, the deployment spring and the lanyard line may be configured to hang from the launch platform.

摘要: The mechanically opening parachute is a parachute that may be opened quickly at low altitudes, such as during an emergency exit from an office building, for example. The mechanically opening parachute includes a telescopic tube having opposed upper and lower ends. A harness adapted for releasably holding the user is secured to the lower end of the telescopic tube. The mechanically opening parachute operates similarly to a conventional umbrella, with the telescopic tube automatically opening upon actuation by the user, and with a conventional umbrella stretcher opening a plurality of ribs secured to a parachute canopy. Preferably, an annular skirt is fixed about the perimeter of the canopy. Suspension cords extend from the annular skirt to the lower end of the telescopic tube.

摘要: A parafoil for operation at high altitudes, in low density air, or at low airspeeds, and methods for opening same. Some versions of the parafoil comprise members connected to the parafoil canopy. When the parafoil canopy is in a stowed configuration, the members are constrained. When the canopy is released from its stowed configuration, the members open or assist with opening the canopy. The members may also be attached to a base structure, which is attached to the payload. The members may comprise rods or hollow tubes and use a fulcrum near the base structure, or a spacer plate. The ends connected to the canopy may be restrained by a parachute bag containing the stowed or packed canopy. The parachute bag can be opened prior to or during detachment of the parafoil from the flight vehicle.

摘要: Disclosed is a package delivery mechanism (PDM) of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The PDM includes a gravity activated locking mechanism to lock and unlock a package attached to the UAV based on the weight of the package. When the package is attached to suspension means of the UAV that lowers the package to the ground from the UAV, the locking mechanism automatically engages with the package and keeps the package locked to the suspension means, due to the weight of the package. When the package is lowered and reaches on the ground, the weight of the package is offloaded from the suspension means, which enables the locking mechanism to be disengaged, thereby releasing the package. The PDM includes a severing module to sever the suspension means from the UAV.

摘要: The object of this invention is a method to shoot an object from a flying apparatus. Into an flying apparatus, into certain part of it, like a container that consists at least of a bottom and a shell a spring will be placed, like a push spring that has been loaded in a tense state and that is locked in this position using a fixing organ and further there will be put as an extension of the spring an object to be shot out from the flying apparatus. The fixing organ is thread, metal cord, bar, strip, rope, line, or some combination of these and tension strength (T) is greater than the tension load of the push force (F) to the mentioned fixing organ. the tension strength (T) of the fixing organ is weakened to be less than the mentioned tension load by heating, burning, or melting the mentioned fixing organ by electric energy when the fixing organ breaks, the spring expands into the direction of the object and the push force (F) pushes the object out of the container and off the flying apparatus. The apparatus that is used in the present method is also an object of the invention.

摘要: A pilot chute device is connected to a parachute canopy for deploying the parachute canopy out of a container adapted to be closed and opened and within which the parachute canopy is foldable. The pilot chute device includes an inflatable pilot chute adopted to assist the deployment of the parachute canopy, the inflatable pilot chute being foldable into the container, and a spring device adopted to push the inflatable pilot chute outside the container when the container is opened. The spring device is dispensed apart from the inflatable pilot chute, between the pilot chute and the parachute canopy.
