Abstract: An aircraft includes a fuselage having a top surface opposite a bottom surface, a front section, a center section, and a rear section. A first mounting rod and a second mounting rod are coupled to the top surface. The first mounting rod and the second mounting rod are single rods. A first and a second wing are coupled to the center section. A plurality of power generator systems are coupled to the first mounting rod or the second mounting rod. Each power generator system includes a power source, a first propeller and a second propeller. The power source is configured to drive the first propeller and the second propeller. The first propeller and the second propeller have an axis of rotation, and are pivotable between a first position and a second position. A shroud encloses the power generator system.

Abstract: Disclosed is a remotely controlled wireless drone which employs a solid fuel rocket engine to propel it quickly to a desired or location. More specifically, an unmanned vehicle including a fuselage and a propulsion unit engaged with the fuselage, the propulsion unit being operable to bring the unmanned vehicle to a desired altitude or location, generally during a launch stage. The fuselage also includes multiple rotors pivotally engaged with the fuselage and a rotor positioning system operable to pivot the multiple rotors between stowed and deployed positions. The stowed position of the propellers minimizes drag and instability during the launch stage, and the deployed position allows the multiple rotors to control the position and altitude of the unmanned vehicle after the fuel of the rocket engine is spent. Submersible/amphibious and other embodiments are also described.

Abstract: An electrically-powered VTOL aircraft has a fuselage with a cabin flexibly connected to a powerplane assembly that includes a plurality of electrically-powered rotors and booms. The powerplane assembly can pitch and roll relative to and independently of the cabin, thereby generating efficient fore, aft and lateral thrust while the cabin attitude remains unchanged. This provides a stable passenger experience and enhanced performance and controllability with reduced cost and complexity. In some embodiments, the fuselage is vertically elongated and the powerplane assembly mounts above the fuselage such that a person may walk beneath the rotors completely erect without the fear of being struck by any of the rotors. Using a vertically elongated cabin in conjunction with a relatively high powerplane provides various performance benefits that improve controllability and maneuverability particularly in congested environments, reduce complexity and costs, and enhance passenger safety and experience.

Abstract: A device is provided for preventing a parachute from being damaged. A parachute device (4) includes a flying body (43) including a parachute (400), a parachute accommodation section (40) configured to accommodate the parachute, at least one flying body (43) connected to the parachute, an ejection section (41) having a tube shape and configured to hold the flying body and to eject the held flying body, a gas generating device (60) configured to generate gas, and an extrusion member (42) capable of being at least partially inserted into the ejection section, the extrusion member being configured to extrude the flying body from the ejection section due to receiving pressure of the gas generated from the gas generating device.
