The container includes a peel tab for opening the container to thereby gain access to the container interior and contents therein. The container further includes pull tab provisions which must be at least partially separated from a container substrate, in order to gain access to the peel tab. Separation of the pull tab provisions provides indication of tampering or prior opening attempts. Related methods of providing such indication are also described.

A releasable locking feature is provided at a side of the package, which comprises a pair of locking edges, one associated with a sidewall of each of the slider and container respectively, and a release area for releasing a locking abutment between the locking edges. The release area is provided in the sidewall of the container having the locking edge, and the locking edge of the slider comprises two or more plies of a material used to provide the slider. The package includes means for biasing the locking edge of the slider into engagement with the locking edge of the container. The biasing means extends from a blister pack carrier connected to the slider.

    摘要： A carrier for a blister pack includes a first panel having an opening for movably receiving a blister of the blister pack, and a second panel having one or more dispensing openings aligned with the first panel opening. The first panel and the second panel slidably receive the blister pack there between. The carrier includes a blocking tab between the first and second panels that is selectively moveable between a blocking position and a dispensing position. When the blocking tab is in its blocking position it prevents movement of the blister in the first panel opening into alignment with a dispensing opening, thereby preventing dispensing of the blister's contents through the dispensing opening. When the blocking tab is in the dispensing position, it permits the blister to be moved into alignment with a dispensing opening for dispensing the blister's contents. The blocking tab is connected to a free edge of one of the first and second panels about a fold line, and one of the first and second panels of the blister pack carrier is connected to a panel of a slider.

    摘要： A rigid holding container has a flexible cover sheet extending over the holding area for scaling the contents. The container has a wide, flat perimeter lip which provides a firm base for the seal between the cover sheet and the container. A breaching bubble is formed in the seal, under the cover and over the perimeter lip. The consumer breaches the bubble by pressing the bubble against the lip between the thumb and forefinger. The pressure compresses the air in the bubble causing the bubble to expand laterally. The expanding bubble breaches along the perimeter of the lip, producing a peel flap of flexible cover material. The consumer pulls the peel flap while holding the rigid container down, to remove the cover sheet.
