摘要： A clamshell packaging for airtight packaging of foodstuff includes a tray folded out of a single sheet. The tray has at least two adjacent pool parts, each pool part having a bottom wall and upstanding walls arranged around the circumferential edge of the bottom wall. The adjacent pool parts are hingedly connected to each other along an upper edge of a respective upstanding wall, so the adjacent pool parts can be hinged on top of each other to form a closed box. A circumferential, horizontal flange is arranged to the tray to at least some upper edges of the upstanding walls. A plastic barrier foil is arranged in the pool parts and extends onto and substantially covers the flange. The flange includes a seal zone extending along the length of the flange. The seal zone is line symmetrical along the hinge line at the upper edge of the connected walls.

摘要： A clamshell container having an anti-bind feature is provided. The container is comprised of a tray and a cover, each having a first panel and rear panel foldably connected along a rear fold line. One or both of the rear fold lines may be interrupted by a cut suitable for allowing the rear panels to flex or bow when the cover is hingedly rotated relative to the tray. A rear cut may be provided generally coextensive with each of the fold lines. The cuts can have an arcuate shape and may be convexly curved toward an interior of the container.

The bottom wall and the side wall form a bottom recessed area. The top portion is connected with the bottom portion along a fold line. The top portion is configured to fold over at least part of the bottom portion at the fold line to form a storage area between the top portion and the bottom recessed area. The top portion and the bottom portion are constructed of a first layer and a second layer attached to the first layer by an insulating material. The insulating material includes micro-encapsulated particles to expand and provide thermal insulation.

摘要： A food holder for retaining a food product is provided. The food holder is formed from a continuous blank of the sheet material. The food holder includes a top tray including a center panel, a side panel, and an end panel coupled together along a plurality of fold lines. The food holder further includes a bottom tray including a center panel, a side panel, and an end panel coupled together along a plurality of fold lines. The bottom tray is rotatably coupled to the top tray along a hinge line. The top tray is rotatable relative to the bottom tray from an open position to a closed position. The food holder further includes a moveable section including a portion of at lest one of the top tray side panel and the bottom tray side panel. The moveable section facilitates movement of the top tray relative to the bottom tray for retaining the food product.

When closed, the top portion and bottom portion define a cavity for storing an item. The carton also includes a separation region defined on the top and bottom portions that extends from an outside edge of the front wall of the top portion, around the top portion and the bottom portion, to an outside edge of the front wall of the bottom portion. The separation region is configured to facilitate controlled separation of the carton into first and second side portions and to prevent liquid flow through separation region.

摘要： There is described herein a disposable clam shell food service container having a continuous sidewall which includes a novel flex-hinge panel between the lid and bottom of the container. This construction permits the container to open easily when the lid is pushed upwardly resulting in a flat tray like configuration devoid of the typical upstanding median wall or divider and which may be used as a serving plate by the consumer. The container may be easily snapped closed and locked to allow later consumption of any uneaten food products. Several additional embodiments of the invention are also presented, all of which include a continuous sidewall which ensures that the food product will remain warm and one of several lock means to secure the container in its closed condition. A triangular form of the container is also described for serving of pizza, pies and similar shaped food products.

摘要： A system for holding nested boxes, where each box features a lid and a bottom joined by a living hinge and where first and second notches are defined between the top and bottom of each box on opposite sides of the living hinge when each box is in an unfolded configuration. The system features a rack including a support adapted to rest on a generally horizontal surface, a pair of generally parallel vertical members mounted to the support and a number of generally parallel horizontal members extending between the pair of vertical members. The system also features a box holder assembly including a base featuring a hook portion and a channel. The hook portion of the box holder assembly engages one of the horizontal members of the rack so that the box holder assembly is supported by the rack above the generally horizontal surface. A fixed arm is attached to the base and features a fixed arm guide. An adjustable arm features a sliding section positioned in the channel of the base and an adjustable arm guide positioned generally parallel to the fixed arm guide. A spring urges the adjustable arm guide towards the fixed arm guide so that the fixed arm guide engages the first notches of the nested boxes and the adjustable arm guide engages the second notches of the nested boxes.
