Abstract:
A package structure for packing at least one object is provided. The package structure includes first package containers, second package containers, and a third package container. The first package container is a cuboid and has a receiving space for receiving the object and a plurality of side surfaces surrounding the receiving space. Each side surface has a gap connecting the receiving space and exposing an edge of the object. The second package container has a first side, a second side, and a second receiving space therebetween for receiving the first package container. The third package container includes a first component and a second component being detachable to each other. One of the first component and the second component has a locking tab, and the other one has a locking hole. The first component and the second component together form a receiving space to receive the second package containers.
Abstract:
A packaging system and method for securing a product within a shipping container includes providing a shipping container appropriately sized for the product, attaching at least a first shock absorption member to the shipping container for serving as a locator for the product and for positioning the product on the shipping container. Attaching at least a second shock absorption member to the shipping container for, together with the at least a first shock absorption member, securing the product on the shipping container. The shipping container is closed about the product, which is itself suspended by the at least a first shock absorption member and the at least a second shock absorption member.
Abstract:
Embodiments disclose a reusable shipping container. The container may comprise six multi-layered walls of a plastic material. Further, the container may comprise a rail fastened to a top edge of the container with a plurality of first fasteners, wherein the fasteners penetrate on the rail, a first layer and a second layer of the container. Moreover, the container may comprise an insulation layer of vacuum insulation material and an inner layer corresponding to each wall of the container. Methods are also described for packing a parcel for shipment. The insulation layer and the inner layer are inserted into the container, wherein the inner layer encloses the parcel. Thereafter, an insulation layer corresponding to a top wall is inserted and the top wall is closed.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for shipping a parcel from a primary to a secondary location in a reusable container, and returning the container to a tertiary location. The parcel is packaged in the container which includes a label construction. The label construction includes a base substrate for securing to the container, a sleeve overlaying the base substrate, and a transparent viewing window having an exposed surface for removably receiving an address label. A first removable label is adhered to the transparent viewing window and includes information corresponding to an address for the secondary location. A second removable label is placed inside the sleeve and includes information corresponding to an address for a tertiary location. The package is delivered to the secondary location where it is un-packed and the first label is removed thereby exposing the second label for viewing through the window for delivery to the tertiary location.
Abstract:
An overpack carton for packing a primary shipping case includes a packing strap having interconnected side panels and a latching panel, one or more cushion strips secured to the side panels, and latching elements for latching the packing strap around at least a portion of the primary shipping case. A method for packing a primary shipping case includes steps of providing a cushioned packing strap having latching elements, wrapping the packing strap around at least a portion of the primary shipping case and interengaging the latching elements.
Abstract:
