Abstract: A bulk fluid storage container includes a frame assembly having a lower rectangular frame, first and second wheel assemblies extending from opposite ends of the lower rectangular frame, and an upper rectangular frame member arranged in spaced relation to the lower rectangular frame member by a plurality of vertically extending posts. The bulk fluid storage container also includes a fluid storage vessel having first and second end walls held in spaced relation by first and second side walls, a top wall and a bottom wall, which defines a fluid storage volume. A baffle assembly having a plurality of baffle plates is disposed in a space relationship in the fluid storage volume. The frame assembly provides an exoskeletal structure which surrounds the fluid storage vessel and is configured to support a second bulk fluid storage container in a vertically stacked relationship.

Abstract: A detachable modular mobile autonomy module (MAM) for a modular autonomous bot apparatus includes a housing with latching points, an autonomous controller, location circuitry, external sensors monitoring an environment external to the MAM and providing sensor data to the controller, multi-element light panels on the housing driven by the controller; and a modular component power and data bus. The bus has a bottom side modular component electronics interface disposed on the housing that mates to a corresponding interface on another proximately-attached modular component of the bot. The MAM receives sensor data from the external sensors, receives outside sensor data from additional sensors disposed on a mobility unit of the bot, generates steering and propulsion control output signals based on location data from the location circuitry, external sensor data, mobility unit sensor data, and destination information data maintained by the controller, and generates transport and delivery information for the light panels.

Abstract: To avoid or reduce the necessity of loading a cargo container on a container carrying vehicle, for example, a cargo container 100 includes: engaging portions 101b disposed at four corners of each of upper and lower surfaces of a shell 101 and each engageable with a spreader of a container crane; and a wheel 113 capable of supporting the cargo container 100 such that the cargo container 100 is allowed to run. The wheel 113 is switchable between a runnable state where at least a lowermost portion is located below a bottom surface 101c of the cargo container 100 and supports the cargo container 100 such that the cargo container 100 is allowed to run, and a loaded state where the wheel 113 moves inward from the bottom surface 101c and the bottom surface 101c is allowed to make contact with a mount surface of the cargo container 100.

Abstract: A modular autonomous cart assembly for transporting an item being shipped is described with a sensor-equipped mobility base that carries the item(s), a modular cart handle, a sensor-equipped modular mobile cart autonomy control module detachably attached to the modular handle, all sharing a modular common power and data transport bus. The autonomous controller of the modular control module is programmatically adapted operative to establish a secure connection to a wireless mobile courier node, locate the courier node and the cart assembly, receive sensor data from the base and control module sensors, generate steering and propulsion control commands using the locations and sensor data and send them to a controller on the mobility base so that the assembly can autonomously track and follow the current location of the courier node as the courier node moves and while maintaining a predetermined follow distance from the current location of the courier node.

Abstract: A bulk fluid storage container has a top wall structure and a bottom wall structure held in spaced relation by a side wall structure. An internal baffle assembly is disposed in the fluid storage volume between the side wall structure for reducing fluid sloshing. A fill port formed in the top wall structure has a fill flange for coupling with a source of the fluid. A vent port formed in the top wall structure has a pressure vacuum value. A drain port formed in the side wall structure in a lower region adjacent the gutter region has a drain valve assembly is coupled to the drain port. A frame assembly includes an upper rectangular frame member and a lower rectangular frame member arranged in spaced relation by a plurality of post; wherein the frame assembly surrounds and supports the fluid storage vessel.

Abstract: A roller assembly includes at least one roller, an L-shaped board and at least one L-shaped fixing member. The L-shaped fixing member is fixed on the L-shaped board; and the roller is fixed and connected on the L-shaped board through the L-shaped fixing member. A package includes a box and the roller assembly. The box contains at least one hole and the roller protrudes from the hole. Further, the package is used as follows. The box is opened and the matter to be packaged is put into the box. Then the roller assembly is placed into the box, and the roller assembly is sandwiched between the box and the matter. Next, the roller(s) is aligned with the hole(s). Subsequently, the box and the matter are compressed to make the roller(s) protrude from the hole(s). Finally, the box are sealed from the bottom surface to complete the package.

Abstract: A modular autonomous bot apparatus assembly is described for transporting an item being shipped. The assembly includes a modular mobility base having propulsion, steering, sensors for collision avoidance, and suspension actuators; a modular auxiliary power module with a power source and cargo door; a modular cargo storage system with folding structural walls and a latching system; and a modular mobile autonomy module that covers the cargo storage system and provides human interaction interfaces, externals sensors, a wireless interface, and an autonomous controller with interfacing circuitry coupled to the human interaction interfaces and sensors on the mobile autonomy module. The assembly has a power and data transport bus that provides a communication and power conduit across the different modular components. A method for on-demand assembly of such a bot apparatus is further described with steps for authenticating the different modular components during assembly.

Abstract: A modular cargo storage system (CSS) is described for use on a base platform of a modular autonomous bot apparatus that transports an item being shipped. The modular CSS includes a set of folding structural walls, an interlocking alignment interface on at least one of the walls, and a modular component power and data transport bus. The walls at least partially enclose a payload area above the base platform. The interlocking alignment interface has a set of latches and a locking handle coupled to the set of latches that actuates the latches to interlock with the base platform. The power and data transport bus have top and bottom side modular component electronics interfaces where each interface has a power conduit outlet and a command and data communication interface.
