Abstract:
A deep-drawing packaging machine includes a sealing device that clamps and seals a top film and a bottom film by an upper mold and a lower mold, clamping tabs that clamp both-side edges of at least one of the top film and the bottom film, and a carrying device that carries at least one of the top film and the bottom film clamped by the clamping tabs. The clamping tabs are configured such that a gap is generated between the clamping tabs and the top film and the bottom film, positioned in a range clamped by the upper mold and the lower mold, when the upper mold and the lower mold of the sealing device are closed.
Abstract:
A collecting device for forming a printed product includes a conveyor and a plurality of printed material delivery devices, the plurality of printed material delivery devices including a first delivery device for first printed materials and a second delivery device for second printed materials. A first transfer device is assigned to the first delivery device and delivering the first printed materials to the conveyor and a second transfer device assigned to the second delivery device and delivering the second printed materials to be collected with the first printed materials on the conveyor. Each of the first and second transfer devices have printed material buffer positions between the respective first and second delivery devices and the conveyor, which permit advantageous reduction in the amount of waste.
Abstract:
An installation for manufacturing personalized coupons comprises a set of work stations with at least a feed station (110) for supplying blank coupons (C), a personalization station (120) for personalizing blank coupons (C), and a cutting-out station (130) for cutting out personalized coupons (C). A system for transporting coupons (C) between the various work stations (110, 120, 170) comprises at least one chain (1) driven in indexed manner by motor-driven sprocket wheels (2), and a set of clamps (5) mounted at a constant pitch on links of the chain (1) and co-operating with opening/closing means (37) placed in fixed positions, so that each clamp takes hold of an individual blank coupon (C), transports said coupon (C) between the various work stations, and releases the coupon (C) in a station (180) for collecting the finished or semi-finished product. Each clamp (5) has a pair of jaws for clamping a marginal zone of a coupon (C) in at least two regions thereof which are spaced apart from each other in the travel direction of the chain (1), and external abutments secured to one or other of the jaws for laterally positioning the coupon.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sheet-feeding device for delivering printed sheets produced by a printing press, having a plurality of grippers which grasp the sheets and transport them from the printing press in the direction of a stacking device, characterized in that the sheet-feeding device is provided with at least one linear motor for transporting the grippers.
Abstract:
From a scaled stream (2) which is conveyed along a first conveying path (F.1) through a removal region (A) in a held manner, the held conveyance is deactivated at the entrance of the removal region (A) for stream sections which are to be removed from the scaled stream or from which items are to be removed and the sections or items to be removed are conveyed by means of a second conveying means (5) being adjustable for a removal onto a second conveying path (P.2), while for the rest of the stream sections (2.1) the held conveyance is maintained during conveyance through the removal region (A). The first conveying means (1) e.g. comprises clamping elements for gripping e.g. the longitudinal edges of the scaled stream (2), the clamping elements being opened selectively at the entrance of removal region (A). The second conveying means (5) e.g. comprises a pivoting conveying belt (5.2) on which stream sections (2.2) to be removed are conveyed onto the second conveying path (F.2) in a loosely laying manner.
Abstract:
An endless chain is guided in each one of two adjacently extending guide channels, for entraining articles or objects to be conveyed, such as newspapers delivered in an imbricated formation. A guide channel section is displaceably arranged transversely to a receiving station in order that the articles or objects can be conducted to the receiving station not only from one supply station but also from a further supply station as well. The displacement of the guide channel section is executed in a region between two transition sections which extend in the same direction relative to each other. In such arrangement, displacement of the guide channel section can be effected without altering the length of the guide channel.
Abstract:
A guided endless, revolvingly driven traction element is equipped with controlled gripper units or grippers arranged in spaced relationship from each other. These gripper units are adapted to grip one margin of the paper products which constitutes a lateral marginal edge of the product as seen in the transport direction thereof. The gripper units have substantially planar clamping faces inclined at the same direction with respect to the traction element for stiffening that portion of the transported paper products which laterally project from the gripper units. The transported printed products thus have imparted thereto a corrugation or undulation extending transversely with respect to the transport direction which results in the desired stiffening of the products.
Abstract:
A conveying system to be used in the printing industry, especially in mailroom technology, includes a revolvingly driven conveying member that is provided with supporting elements that are fixed to a traction rope in a stationary and optionally torsion-proof manner. The conveying member can be provided with another rope that has the same length as the traction rope, revolves substantially parallel thereto, and is used as a guide rope or second traction rope. Grippers that are disposed laterally on the belt-shaped conveying member, which is formed by ropes and supporting elements, are arranged on the supporting elements in order to grab and hold individual printed products or groups of printed products. The conveying member is deflected onto different deflection planes via guiding devices while being twisted between such deflections such that the three-dimensional position of the supporting elements and the conveyed printed products can be modified. The guiding devices are equipped with revolving guiding members that are positioned so as to be in contact with the supporting elements.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for conveying flat objects (46), especially products of a printing works, which comprises successively arranged conveying elements that are moved along a continuous track (16) in a direction of conveyance (F). Individually controllable conveying clamps (22) are mounted on each conveying element (12) and are configured for laterally holding, with the clamp jaw thereof that is arranged in the plane of conveyance extending in the direction of conveyance (F), at least two objects (46), which are arranged in the plane of conveyance and in the direction of conveyance (F) while overlapping one another in an offset manner. The conveying clamps are mounted on the conveying elements in the plane of conveyance and in a direction of displacement (30), which is perpendicular to the continuous track (16), in a manner that permits them to be displaced to and fro between two positions (50, 50′). A control device (53) is configured for displacing the conveying clamps (22) from one position (50, 50′) into the other.
Abstract:
Flat articles (3) each held by a feeding-in gripper (5) on a leading first edge are fed-in to a hold changing station (1) one after the other, are pulled onto a changing support situated in the changing station (1), and are deposited on it by opening the feeding-in gripper (5). Each deposited article is then pushed across the changing support (10) by a conveying-away gripper (6) and, while being pushed, is grasped by closing the conveying-away gripper (6) and is conveyed away held gripped on a second edge. Advantageously, the feeding-in direction (Z) and the conveying-away direction (W) intersect above the changing support (10) under the one angle (&agr;), which is also constituted by the first and the second edge. For the hold change of rectangular printed products, the angle (&agr;) amounts to 90°. For pushing the articles, the conveying-away grippers (6) move in the plane of the surface of the changing support and are driven from below. For articles (3) that overlap one another on being fed-in, the feeding-in grippers (5) move above the surface of the changing support (10) and are driven from above.
