摘要： Provided is a coloring composition capable of producing a cured film having suppressed color unevenness even in a case where the coloring composition is used after being stored for a long period of time. In addition, provided are a color filter, a pattern forming method, a solid-state imaging device, and an image display device. The coloring composition includes a halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment, a maleimide compound, a curable compound other than the maleimide compound, and a solvent, in which the molecular weight of the maleimide compound is 100 to 400, and the content of the maleimide compound is 0.08 to 0.8 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment.

Specifically, an azo pigment is provided which is obtained through coupling reaction between a particular azo component and a particular coupling component, which has a plurality of chromophores of an azomethine group and of an azo group within a molecule, and in which the diazo component is a diazotized product of 3-(4-aminophenylimino)-1-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrachroloisoindoline.

摘要： An ink to be used in an ink jet recording method of ejecting an ink from a recording head through action of thermal energy can improve the ink ejection stability and shows a high storage stability and a high color developability. An ink to be used in an ink jet recording method of ejecting an ink from a recording head through action of thermal energy is characterized in that the ink comprises a pigment represented by the general formula (1), a dispersant, a water-soluble organic compound and an aggregation inhibiting substance for inhibiting aggregation after dispersion breakdown of the pigment, and the content (mass %) of the aggregation inhibiting substance with respect to the total mass of ink is 0.4 times or more to less than 1.3 times of the content (mass %) of the pigment with respect to the total mass of ink.
