摘要： Compounds and compositions are used as corrosion inhibitors for pipelines for crude oil containing water with high salt concentrations. The inhibitors are ionic liquids, imidazoles, benzotriazoles, and mixtures thereof. The composition includes two or more members of the inhibitors with a solvent. The inhibitors reduce corrosion of metallic surfaces of the pipelines containing crude oil having 0.2 and 40 wt % water, 10,000 to 70,000 ppm salt, and 9 to 600 ppm hydrogen sulfide. A synergic effect is provided by two or more different inhibitors. This synergy is derived from interactions with the metallic surface, among themselves or with the corrosive medium depending on the chain length, to inhibit the corrosion with decrease of the formulation dose. The composition can be a ternary formulation of the three families or two components of one family and a third component of a different family.

摘要： There are provided metal corrosion inhibition cleaning compositions, methods and system for copper (Cu), tungsten (W), titanium (Ti), tantalum (Ta), cobalt (Co), and aluminum (Al). The metal corrosion inhibition cleaning compositions provide corrosion inhibition effects by use a combination of two chemicals—at least one multi-functional amine that has more than one amino groups; and at least one multi-functional acid that has more than one carboxylate groups. The metal corrosion inhibition cleaning compositions are effective for cleaning the residues deriving from high density plasma etching followed by ashing with oxygen containing plasmas; and slurry particles and residues remaining after chemical mechanical polishing (CMP).

摘要： Graphene quantum dots are functionalized by covalently bonding a corrosion inhibitor molecule thereto. In a useful method, a corrosion inhibitor compound is blended with a graphene quantum dot-tagged corrosion inhibitor compound, and the blend is applied to a metal surface, such as the interior of a carbon steel pipe. The blend inhibits corrosion arising from contact with produced water generated by hydrocarbon recovery from one or more subterranean reservoirs. The produced water having the blend dispersed therein is irradiated with a source of light having a selected first range of wavelengths, and the luminescent emission of the graphene quantum dot-tagged corrosion inhibitor is measured at a selected second range of wavelengths, thereby providing for real-time measurement of corrosion inhibitor concentration within the pipe.

摘要： Corrosion inhibitor compositions, methods of inhibiting or reducing corrosion, and methods of manufacturing corrosion inhibitor compositions are disclosed herein. In certain methods, the corrosion inhibitor compositions may be added to an aqueous industrial system having at least one surface. The aqueous industrial system may be a water recirculating system, a cooling water system, a boiler water system, a pulp slurry, a papermaking process, a ceramic slurry, a mixed solid/liquid system, or an oil-field system. A method of manufacturing a corrosion inhibitor composition may include reacting an alkanolamine with a fatty acid to form a fatty acid ester reaction product and reacting the fatty acid ester reaction product with an alkyl halide or an acrylate.
