摘要: Disclosed is a process for making fire resistant materials, such as fabrics or barriers, comprising the steps of selecting cellulosic fibers and optionally synthetic fibers; feeding a machinery serving to make the nonwoven material with the fibers, and treating the fibers at least one time with at least one fire retardant chemical compound while the machinery is making the non-woven material for obtaining the requested fire resistant nonwoven material. Preferably, an aqueous solution containing the fire retardant chemical compounds is spread on the nonwoven web before, during and/or after the web is heated up during a thermo bonding step of the process. The process is environmentally friendly and allows for higher impregnation of the fibers with fire retardant chemicals.

摘要: The invention relates to a hydrophilic cotton pad for skin-care exhibiting a specific surface weight of at least 150 g/m2, and having two different outer sides of which the fibers are entangled. In the invention, the first outer side has hollow striae apart by a spacing s1 between 1 and 8 mm and having a depth d of at least 0.25 mm and wherein at least 50% of the fibers are entangled. The pad of the invention is used to apply skin-care products, such as cosmetics, to the skin.

摘要: A textile stuffer box comprises a housing assembly having a yarn entrance and a yarn exit, and cooperating interior chamber-forming surfaces. The chamber-forming surfaces defines a multi-stage internal crimping chamber for receiving and accumulating a moving length of ply-twisted yarn between the entrance and exit of the housing assembly. The crimping chamber comprising an upstream fixed-volume stage and a downstream adjustable-volume stage. A weight-balanced gate selectively adjusts a volume of the downstream adjustable-volume stage of the crimping chamber, thereby controlling axial compression of yarn accumulating inside the upstream fixed-volume stage of the crimping chamber.

摘要: A non-woven fabric composite containing coir fibers and a method for producing such composites. The non-woven fabric composite is comprised of coir fibers, which are large diameter, lignin-rich fibers, with a high viscous flow temperature and a high degradation temperature combined with fibers made of a thermoplastic polymer with a lower viscous flow temperature such as polypropylene (“PP”), polyethylene (“PE”), polylactic acid (“PLA”), and polyester (“PET”) or mixtures thereof. A hot-pressed non-woven fabric composite material prepared from the non-woven fabric composite.

摘要: A plant serves as a mean for production of a fibre web of synthetic fibres, such as plastic fibres and absorbent fibres, such as viscose and cellulose fibres. The plant includes a forming head preliminary to lay a homogeneously and smoothly distributed fibre layer on a net shaped wire. Furthermore the plant includes a hydro-entangling section with liquid nozzles with powerful liquid jets to treat the in the forming head formed fibre layer, which consists of both synthetic—and absorbent fibres. The plant also includes an oven subsequently to thermal bond the synthetic fibres with cross bonds in the affected areas. Finally the dried web is winded up in a roller. By the help of the plant according to the invention, by higher production speed than known previously a fibre web can be produced, which is far cheaper, and which has a better and more homogeneous structure than similar conventional fibre webs.
