摘要： Apparatus and method for washing an elongate textile article of extended indeterminate length utilizes a containment structure defining a channel extending upwardly from a lower end to an upper end thereof, with a plurality of undulations spaced-apart from one another within the channel between the lower and upper ends thereof, each undulation extending transversely across the channel. A portion of the lengthwise extent of the traveling textile article is advanced transiently within the channel upwardly from the lower end to the upward end and across the undulations, while a substantially continuous supply of cleansing liquid enters the channel at the upper end to flow downwardly against the upwardly traveling portion of the textile article for cleansing thereof.

摘要： A household sterilizer for disinfecting fabric material that has become soiled. The unit involves an upright tub containing an electric heating element at its base. A suspension bar extends generally across at least part of the tub interior, for hanging clothing to be treated. An electric cord for the heating element has a switch and timer module in series, to control current flow to the heating element. The arrangement is such that a wide variety of garments, including miscellaneous fabrics in general, can be readily steam cleaned with a minimum of water being required. The tub occupies a minimum of space, suitable for a conventional home or apartment.

摘要： The method of continuous thermal treatment of a textile product with steam simultaneously provides optimum dye fixing and drying of a product web treated with a dye solution. This method includes applying a water solution of a dye to a product web to form a moist product web with the applied dye solution; transporting the moist product web with the applied dye solution through at least one treatment chamber in which the heat treatment takes place; bringing the moist product web with the applied dye solution into contact with a treatment gas including hot steam, preferably at 160-230° C., for preferably from 10 to 30 seconds, to simultaneously perform drying and dye fixing, so that the residual moisture content of the moist product web is less than or equal to its equilibrium moisture content under normal conditions.

摘要： A wetting device for the mat (10) of a carrier material comprises a grasping frame which is constituted by side ledges (101, 102, 104), whereby the mat to be coated (10) can be fixed by clamps (105) to the side ledges. At least one of the side ledges of the frame is configured flexible (bendable), since it preferably comprises several segments (101, 102) which are hinged together. Thus, the clamped mat (10) can be brought into a cylindrical configuration in which it can be coated by a spray device which is introduced into the inner space of the cylinder. Due to the subsequent bending of the flexible side ledge in the opposite direction, the mat (10) can be brought into a second cylindrical configuration for which its other upper surface constitutes the inner side of the cylinder and is thus available for being coated by the spray device. During the spraying operation, the cylinder axis is preferably orientated vertically in order to avoid non-homogeneities of the coating because of the gravitation.

摘要： A distributing mechanism for depositing wet processed fabric in rope-form in a container. A tubular distributing guide is mounted for pivoting movement on a distributing ring rotatable about a vertical axis. Ribbed support rollers on the distributing ring are received in annular grooves in a concentric support ring, such that the distributing ring is mounted by the support ring, but is rotatable with respect thereto. The support ring itself is supported for rotation about a vertical axis. Both rings are driven by a common external drive motor, but at slightly different rotational speeds. A circular cam track, formed in the supporting ring, cooperates with a cam follower wheel carried by the distributing guide. As the distributing and supporting rings are rotated, the relative motion therebetween results in the follower wheel moving along the cam track, varying the angle at which the distributing guide is disposed, whereby fabric is deposited in neat, uniform layers within the container, for relatively easy and tension-free removal at a later time for subsequent processing.

摘要： A horizontal package dyeing machine in which yarn packages are supported in carriers that have a base with tubular posts projecting therefrom for stacking yarn packages thereon and a wall secured to and extending upwardly from the periphery of the base to form an enclosure for confining treating liquid. The base is formed with two liquid distribution chambers, one being an upper chamber communicating with the interior of the posts and the other being a lower chamber communicating with the interior of the enclosure. The distribution chambers have open ends that can communicate with liquid supplying and withdrawing ducts of the machine for circulation of treating liquid within the carrier enclosure. The carriers are dimensioned for positioning two carriers in a vessel with the open ends of the distribution chambers in communication for flow of treating liquid therebetween. The open end of the discharge chambers of a carrier at the opening end of the vessel has its discharge chamber ends blocked by a positioning member on the lid of the vessel. An insert member may be used in place of a second carrier when dyeing a half batch of yarn packages or less, with the insert member having a flow blocking surface disposed against the distribution chamber openings at the adjacent end of the adjacent carrier and having its other end against the positioning member of the lid of the vessel.

摘要： A quick-release fastening device for securing a bobbin spacer to a spindle on which bobbins are axially mounted while allowing the absorption of thermal expansion of the bobbins, which device comprises a locking rod adapted to be firmly secured, at one end, to the spindle. The rod has an annular groove therein. Upper fastening means includes a sleeve slidably fitted on the locking rod which sleeve has ball-holding holes at the position corresponding to the annular groove and balls are located in the holes. A locking slide member is mounted on the sleeve which member is slidable freely along the sleeve and has a recess at its inner side. A compression spring is disposed in the recess and serves to cause sliding of the slide member. A flange member is provided surrounding the uppermost part of the sleeve above the recess and is fitted in the locking member. The balls are held between the annular groove of the locking rod and the slide member. The thermal-expansion-absorbing means includes a slidable ring mounted on the outer periphery of the sleeve which ring is adapted to be firmly secured onto the bobbin spacer, a spring-supporting member secured to the sleeve above the slidable ring, and a compression spring interposed between the slidable ring and spring-supporting member, the spring serving to absorb thermal expansion of bobbins by its resiliency. When the slide member is slid up or down, the locking rod can be released from or fastened to the entire assembly consisting of the sleeve and associated components by the disengagement or engagement of the balls.

摘要： In an apparatus for the continuous pressing and decatizing of fabric, a pressure belt serves to move a fabric undergoing treatment around a rotatably-mounted and heatable cylinder. The pressure belt directly contacts the fabric to press it against the cylinder. The surface of the pressure belt is arranged to be heated by a heating roller around which the belt passes prior to passage around the cylinder. The cylinder and heating roller can be independently heated to different temperatures to produce a temperature differential across the fabric as it is pressed. As a result, moisture condensation preferentially occurs on one side of the fabric causing luster reduction on that side of the fabric.
