    摘要： This inventions provides a method for the removal of smut, fine dust and exhaust gas particles from polluted air including providing a particle catch arrangement with a charged surface, the particle catch arrangement being arranged to generate a static electric field, wherein the electric field is at least 0.2 kV/m. The invention further provides a particle catch arrangement including a surface that can be charged, further including a generator arranged to generate charge to the surface that can be charged and to generate a static electric field of at least 0.2 kV/m, wherein the particle catch arrangement is part of or integrated with an object including street furniture.

The motor vehicle transmitter of noise and/or exhaust emmissions have a modified tail pipe arrangement arranged for close coupling and transmission of the noise and/or exhaust emmissions to receiving means for collecting and processing the noise and/or exhaust emmissions. The receiving means extends along the length of the highway and attenuates the received noise and/or collecting and passing the received exhaust emmissions to processing means for recovering or purifying the exhaust emmissions. The duct portion of the receiving means instead or also utilized to provide transmission of electric power to specially designed types of electrically powered motor vehicles along the highway and also provide guidance where it is so desired to instrument the vehicle and duct.

The wall assembly includes means for dividing air from a roadway region into a lower part and an upper part, and means for permitting at least a portion of the upper part to flow substantially in one or more flow directions toward a leeward region. The wall assembly also includes means for directing the lower part substantially upwardly in a direction substantially transverse to the flow direction to intersect with the upper part and to mix the polluted air with the less polluted air, to provide the moderately polluted air proximal to the leeward area.

In one embodiment of the invention, road 12 is a road provided with a dewaterable pavement and rain water passes through surface layer 18 during raining, flows over and along base layer 16 and is discharged. In surface layer 18, numerous aggregates of small particle sizes 1802 are projected from the entire surface of concrete layer 1804. Titanium dioxide layer 20 is formed by injecting or spraying a mixture comprising titanium dioxide, cement, a filler and water onto the entire surface of surface layer 18 thinly and is water-permeable.
