Abstract: A lock includes a lock housing, a cylinder assembly rotatably arranged in the lock housing and a locking keyless assembly connected to the cylinder assembly in a transmission way. The cylinder assembly includes a cylinder core and a tailpiece unit, a first clutch mechanism is provided between the cylinder core and the tailpiece unit, and a second clutch mechanism is provided between the locking keyless assembly and the tailpiece unit. When the second clutch mechanism is engaged, the locking keyless assembly is movable relative to the lock housing in a first direction under a driving of an external force for locking, and the cylinder core and the tailpiece unit rotate along with the locking keyless assembly. When the external force on the locking keyless assembly is withdrawn, the locking keyless assembly moves in an opposite second direction opposite, so that the second clutch mechanism switches to a disengaged state.

Abstract: A locking system and method for a movable freight container comprises an electronic module with a shaft that goes into a cavity in a mechanical lock module. The shaft is securely retained in the cavity by a lock mechanism in the mechanical lock module by moving the lock mechanism to a locked position. A plurality of magnetic field sensors in the shaft are used to read the position of the shaft in the cavity by sensing or not sensing one or more magnets in the lock mechanism to confirm continuous time insertion of the shaft in the cavity. A wireless communication component in the electronic module wirelessly transmits an alarm signal if the magnetic field sensors detect an unexpected interruption in at least one of the continuous time shaft position magnetic sensor readings.

Abstract: A set of handcuffs utilizing a conventional single strand and double strand system with ratchet teeth to prevent opening by virtue of one or more pawls is provided. The handcuffs may be connected via chain or similar device. Standard handcuffs may be unlocked by use of a universal key thereby creating safety and security issues. This design incorporates secondary security features which require that a handcuff be manipulated in some additional manner simultaneously while a handcuff key is utilized. This system requires two sets of hands to be used simultaneously to disengage the locking system. One hand of a person wearing the handcuffs is unable to manipulate the handcuff on which it is worn. As a result, it is virtually impossible for the wearer of the handcuffs to unlock the handcuffs/restraining device even if the person is in possession of the required key.

Abstract: A locking device and system are disclosed. The locking device includes a barrel within which sets a plug. A plurality of pins sit in pin pathways that extend partially through the barrel and plug and the pins prevent rotation of the barrel within the plug when the ends of the pins are not aligned with a shear line. One of the pins has a recess formed therein within which a locking ball can sit. The engagement or otherwise of the locking ball in the recess is controlled by a linear actuator. When the linear actuator allows the locking ball to disengage the recess the pin with the recess in can engage the key and a line the end of the pin with the shear line.
