摘要: A method includes introducing a first liquid composition into a well having a wellbore, introducing a second liquid composition into the well, and mixing the first and second liquid compositions within the well. The first liquid composition is kept separate from the second liquid composition until mixing the first and second liquid compositions within the well. Furthermore, the first liquid composition includes a first reactive component, the second liquid composition includes a second reactive component, and the first reactive component reacts with the second reactive component in response to mixing the first and second liquid compositions within the well. The method further includes causing the mixed compositions to engage the wellbore. In one example, the first reactive component may be an epoxy and the second reactive component may be a hardener that reacts with the epoxy to form a solid plug in the wellbore to seal off the well.

摘要: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for extending reach in a wellbore in oil well operations. In one implementation, a first coiled tubing string has a first coil interior surface, and a second coiled tubing string is disposed within the first coiled tubing string and has a second coil exterior surface. An annulus is defined by the first coil interior surface and the second coil exterior surface. The annulus is sealed proximal to a top end of the first coiled tubing string via a first seal and sealed proximal to a bottom end of the first coiled tubing string via a second seal. A fluid is sealed within the annulus at a pressure.

摘要: A downhole motor for directional drilling includes a driveshaft assembly including a driveshaft housing and a driveshaft rotatably disposed within the driveshaft housing. In addition, the downhole motor includes a bearing assembly including a bearing housing and a bearing mandrel rotatably disposed within the bearing housing. The bearing mandrel has a first end directly connected to the driveshaft with a universal joint and a second end coupled to a drill bit. Further, the downhole motor includes an adjustment mandrel configured to adjust an acute deflection angle θ between the central axis of the bearing housing and the central axis of the driveshaft housing. The adjustment mandrel has a central axis coaxially aligned with the bearing housing, a first end coupled to the driveshaft housing, and a second end coupled to the bearing housing.

摘要: A method and system for treating a portion of a wellbore. The system includes a coiled tubing string having two fluid flow areas and a valve configured to control the fluid flow out of both flow areas. The system may include at least one isolation element used to isolate a portion of a wellbore. The isolated portion of the wellbore may be treated by pumping fluid down one or both of the flow areas. The valve may be actuated to permit fluid to be pumped down one flow area while fluid is pumped up the other flow area, which may be used to clean out a screen out, treatment, proppant, and/or solids in the wellbore. The coiled tubing string with two fluid flow areas may be used to treat, stimulate, and/or fracture a portion of a wellbore and provide cleanout capabilities, if required.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for producing hydrocarbon gas from a wellbore and a control valve assembly for said wellbore. The wellbore comprises a wellhead, a production zone, a production tubing, and a velocity string installed inside the production tubing. The method comprises allowing gas to flow from the production zone through the velocity string, said gas forming a primary gas stream, and controlling the flow of gas from the annulus between the outer wall of the velocity string and the inner wall of the production tubing to the primary gas stream by means of the control valve wherein a controlled mass flow of said gas is combined with the primary gas stream.

摘要: Disclosed is a tubing system for transporting a gas-liquid flow from a well to a production platform or processing facility. It includes a dual pathway section between the well and the production point having a first tubing portion and a second tubing portion. The second tubing portion includes a plurality of parallel channels so as to divide the multi-phase flow into a plurality of flows through individual channels. This is done to reduce flow slippage of the lower viscosity portion of the flow, which may lead to inefficiencies in flow characteristics, and often, undesirable cyclical variations in pressure and fluid volume. This is especially useful in inclined portions of the petroleum flow pipe system and along hilly terrain. The first round tubing portion is used for transporting the gas-liquid flow as well as for maintenance purposes, such as for pigging, fishing or coiled tubing operations.
