    摘要: A method for stimulating heavy oil recovery from CHOPS wells at or nearing the end of productive life but not experiencing water-out, wherein produced water is heated to below boiling point and injected back downhole to reduce heavy oil viscosity in the near-wellbore region and surrounding the wormhole network, enabling existing reservoir pressure to drive the reduced-viscosity heavy oil toward the well for production to surface. The injection-soak-production cycle can be repeated as desired so long as adequate reservoir pressure exists.

    摘要: Systems and methods for cooling process equipment are provided. The system includes a process fluid source, and a heat exchanger fluidly coupled with the process equipment and the process fluid source. The heat exchanger is configured to receive a process fluid from the process fluid source and transfer heat from the process equipment to the process fluid. The system also includes a control system fluidly coupled with the heat exchanger. The control system is configured to vary a temperature of the process fluid heated in the heat exchanger. Further, at least a portion of the process fluid heated in the heat exchanger is delivered into a wellbore at a temperature below a boiling point of the process fluid.

    摘要: Superheated steam from a generator (10) proximate a well (14) is delivered through an output pipe (12) that communicates through a dual entry wellhead (17) with downhole steam piping (18) extending into the well (14). Steam is delivered at approximately 50 PSIG over the frictional and other losses encountered from the surface to the steam piping outlet (19). Oil is extracted through production tubing (20) passing through wellhead (17). Production tubing (20) and steam delivery piping (18) are secured in parallel relationship by clamps (46). The production tubing (20) communicates with a lift pump, and the steam piping (18) is terminated generally at a midpoint of the production tubing (20), several feet above the lift pump. A thermocouple (43) is placed approximately two feet below the end of the steam piping (18).

    摘要: A method of hanging a cable within a coiled tubing string includes the steps of determining a length of coiled tubing required within a well having a wellhead; determining a length of a cable required within the coiled tubing, the cable having a structural component along the length of the cable sufficient to support the weight of the cable; cutting the tubing string and installing a hanger sub in the coiled tubing string toward, the wellhead attachment section relative to the downhole end, the hanger sub comprising an inner shoulder that extends radially into the hanger sub and defines an opening; and attaching an outer shoulder to the cable and inserting the cable into the coiled tubing string until the outer shoulder of the cable engages the inner shoulder of the hanger sub such that the inner shoulder positions the cable below the outer shoulder.

    摘要: A method of pumping a hydrocarbon fluid from a wellbore (4) and a hydrocarbon completion (1) implementing the methodology is described. The method comprises deploying a tubing string (7) and a first pump system (15), in fluid communication with the tubing string, within a wellbore. The first pump system is employed to generate a production fluid (17) by heating the hydrocarbon fluid as it is pumped into the tubing string so as to form a counter current heat exchanger between the production fluid within the tubing string and the hydrocarbon fluid located within the wellbore. The counter current heat exchanger provides a means for preheating the hydrocarbon fluid before it reaches the first pump system. As a result the viscosity of the hydrocarbon fluid is reduced thus making it easier to pump to the surface. The method finds particular application within horizontal, high angle or vertical wells in heavy or extra heavy oil fields.

A gas extraction pump station, a gas storage tank, a water-sealing flame arrester, a wire mesh filter, a first pipeline flame arrester, a wet-type bleeding valve and a cyclone dehydrator are sequentially connected; an outlet of the cyclone dehydrator is divided into two branches, one branch sequentially connected with a second pipeline flame arrester, a proportioning mixer, a gas power machine, a waste heat boiler and a waste heat-type double-effect lithium bromide absorption water chiller/heater unit, and the other connected with a gas-type double-effect lithium bromide absorption water chiller/heater unit; a first power generator is connected with the gas power machine, a water storage tank outlet is connected with a pressurizing pump, a second power generator is connected with a steam turbine and driven by the steam power machine to generate power, and cold/hot water of the waste heat-type water chiller/heater unit and the gas-type water chiller/heater unit is delivered through an energy supply pipeline after collection and mixing. With the power energy system mining area, clean production and utilization of coal-mine gas and economic development of coal mine areas are realized.

    摘要: A downhole well pumping assembly has a shroud with an upper section and a lower section sealed from one another. A submersible pump and a gas separator are housed within the upper section of the shroud. The gas separator has a liquid outlet in fluid communication with an intake of the pump, and a gas outlet in fluid communication with the gas outlet in the shroud. A motor is housed within the lower section of the shroud, the motor being coupled to the gas separator for rotating the gas separator and the pump. A well fluid lower inlet is in the shroud below the motor and a well fluid lower outlet is in the shroud above the motor.

    摘要: A BOP heating method includes operating a coiled tubing unit (CTU) using hydraulic fluid. The fluid is supplied from the CTU to an exchange tube and returned from the exchange tube to the CTU. The method includes transmitting heat from the fluid to an inner plate. Heat is transmitted from the inner plate to a BOP on which the inner plate is temporarily mounted. A BOP heating system includes a CTU configured to use hydraulic fluid, a supply tube configured to supply fluid from the CTU to an exchange tube, and a return tube configured to return fluid from the exchange tube to the CTU. A BOP heat exchange unit includes an outer plate and an inner plate, an exchange tube between the outer plate and the inner plate, and a heat spreading material between the exchange tube and the inner plate. The exchange unit lacks any electrical component.
