    摘要: A method of suppressing a pulsation of axial type hydraulic pump/motor includes performing a pressure accumulation operation in which each of ports of each of two pressure accumulation oil passages exclusively communicates with a corresponding one of communication holes and pressure inside one of the cylinder bores is accumulated in a corresponding one of the pressure accumulation oil passages through the communication hole in two levels, the communication holes being provided for each of the cylinder bores to communicate with inside of each of the cylinder bores and having opening portions sliding on the respective ports with rotation of the cylinder block to communicate with the respective ports; and performing an accumulated pressure collection operation in which the pressure accumulated in the pressure accumulation oil passage is collected in one of the cylinder bores in two levels.

    摘要: A hydraulic rotating axial piston engine has a housing enclosing a rotatable cylinder barrel. The cylinder barrel has a number of axial cylinders with a number of reciprocating pistons therein. The pistons reciprocate between two defined end positions and cooperate with an angled plate in order to obtain the reciprocating movement. The cylinders have ports alternatingly acting as inlet and outlet ports and the housing has at least one inlet and outlet channel. The channels each have a kidney-shaped port, facing towards the inlet and outlet ports of the cylinder barrel, and communicating with a number of the ports at the barrel. The cylinder barrel is rotatable relative to a first axis, which is inclined relative to a second axis of an input/output shaft. The angled plate is rotatable together with the input/output shaft around the second axis. The rotation of the cylinder barrel and the input/output shaft are synchronized by means of synchronizing means. The combination of the cylinders and pistons are an even number and the synchronizing means has a synchronizing torque which during the whole rotation of the cylinder barrel is directed in substantially one single direction.

    摘要: A variable displacement hydraulic motor/pump apparatus 10 of the axial piston type is described that is more efficient over a wider range of speeds than previous devices. The apparatus 10 includes a main shaft 17 having a piston rod carrier 30 extending radially outward from the shaft for supporting a plurality of radially and angularly spaced piston rods 37. The piston rods 37 are double ended and held axially stationary with respect to the main shaft. Pistons 51 and 52 are mounted at the ends of the piston rods 37. Annular cylindrical barrels 60, 61 are supported by barrel carrier assemblies 84, 85 respectively circumferentially about the main shaft. Torque is transmitted between annular cylinder barrels 60, 61 and the main shaft 17 by the carrier 30. The barrels have piston cavities 65 formed therein for receiving corresponding pistons 51, 52. The barrel carrier assemblies 84 and 85 are supported by trunnion elements 94 and 95 for enabling the carrier assemblies 84 and 85 to pivot about tilt axes 97 to vary the angular orientation and volumetric displacement of the barrel cavities 65 with respect to the pistons 51, 52. The apparatus may be operated as a motor, as a pump, or as a combination pump and motor.

    摘要: An engine constructed to operate on steam or other compressed gases obtained from boiling liquids such as water, freon, or the like, and utilizing a closed system wherein the expanded gases are condensed and recycled. The engine includes two clusters of cylinders mounted for rotation about axes disposed at an obtuse angle to one another and which are connected by double ended pistons, the ends of which are likewise disposed at an obtuse angle to one another and operate in complementary cylinders of the two cylinder clusters, so that as the two cylinder clusters revolve as a unit, the cylinders engaged by the two ends of each double ended piston will move toward and away from one another so that said cylinders reciprocate on the piston ends, as the pistons revolve with the cylinders. A valve system supplies gas under pressure to complementary cylinders of the two cylinder clusters which are located in close proximity to one another and which are at a minimum volume, due to the pistons thereof being in close proximity to the cylinder heads. This causes the cylinder clusters to revolve by forcing the cylinders to which the gas is being supplied, to move away from one another in order to increase the volume of said cylinders and accommodate more gas as it enters the cylinder chambers. An output shaft is connected to one of the cylinder clusters and rotates therewith.
