    摘要: A pneumatic engine includes first and second pneumatic motors. Each motor has a stator, a rotor, and a gas flow path. The rotor is rotatably connected to the stator. The gas flow path is defined at least in part by the stator and the rotor, and extends from a gas inlet to a terminal gas outlet. The gas flow path has an expansion portion extending between the gas inlet and an intermediate gas outlet, and a compression portion extending between the intermediate gas outlet and the terminal gas outlet. The terminal gas outlet of the first pneumatic motor is fluidly connected upstream of the gas inlet of the second pneumatic motor.

    摘要: A method and system is provided for pressure balancing one or more seals in machines such as expanders and/or compressors using the process fluid which is being expanded or compressed to provide the pressure for pressure balancing the other side of the one or more seals. The one or more seals may be part of a pressure containing chamber which may comprise a seal, a bearing and/or a gear on a rotating shaft common to the seal. An amount of pressure to be supplied to housing(s) for a machine so as to create a pressure cascade, and thereby dropping the pressure in each subsequent chamber as pressure approaches atmosphere. Pressure differentials may be directed to leak process fluid to the chamber into the process. Pressurized lube oil systems may be employed for balancing pressure and delivering lubricant to the seals, bearings and gears.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine in the form of a frictionless turbine includes a piston and a combustion chamber with a combustion chamber wall, which is frictionless because it has no piston rings so that the pistons do not touch the combustion chamber wall. There is clearance between the piston and the chamber wall, so that no piston lubrication is provided or needed, and the absence of friction between the piston and chamber wall permits the turbine to reach very high speeds. Computer control preferably is provided to meter fuel into the combustion chamber as turbine revolutions per minute increase from starting speed to full speed to maximize engine smoothness of operation and efficiency.

    摘要: In a cylinder dividing mechanism of a pneumatic tool, the first and second air pressure driving spaces are formed in the chamber, the first and second external channels are set externally on the circumferential wall, the first external channel is connected with the first air intake and air intake/exhaust dividing controller, and the second external channel is connected with the second air intake and air intake/exhaust dividing controller. As such, a single chamber is provided with two air pressure driving spaces for synchronous compression and driving of the rotor. The driving torsion for the pneumatic tool could be multiplied without need of increasing the volume of the chamber of the cylinder to cater for the need of the users with improved applicability.

    摘要: A cylinder is installed within a case, and an output shaft and an arm that is integrated thereto and extends in a radial direction are installed within the cylinder. A piston extending in an arc slides and is displaced in a circumferential direction of the cylinder within the cylinder. One end portion of the piston is rotatably connected to the arm.     摘要: A positive displacement rotary system may include a main rotor and a slotted rotor. The main rotor can include an interior cavity and a fixed vane (or blade) that is attached to the peripheral and side walls of that cavity. The slotted rotor is positioned within the main rotor interior and includes a slot for the main rotor blade. The main and slotted rotors rotate about parallel axes that are offset from one another. As the rotors turn, separate chambers are formed between the blade and an inter-rotor seal, with the inter-rotor seal located at or near a rolling contact between the outer surface of the slotted rotor and an inner perimeter wall of the main rotor cavity. The separate chambers contract and expand as the rotors rotate.
