The first linear portion is configured to connect to a stem of a valve such that the valve is displaced when the first linear portion is displaced.

    摘要： An interference fit, replacement valve guide has a tubular body with one or more annular grooves formed circumferentially about an exterior surface. An elastomeric O-ring is contained within each annular groove. Each O-ring has an outer surface that extends beyond the outer surface of the valve guide. When the replacement valve guide is press fit into a cylinder head valve guide bore, the O-rings are compressed, forming a fluid tight seal between the valve guide bore's inner surface and the replacement valve guide's outer surface, thus preventing the contamination of engine cooling fluid with engine lubricating fluid, and vice-versa.

    摘要： A valve lifter for an internal combustion engine includes a skirt portion formed in a tubular shape; and a crown portion formed integrally with an axially one end side of the skirt portion. The crown portion includes a crown surface configured to slide in contact with an outer circumferential surface of a cam. An axis of the crown portion is eccentric from a center of the cam in a width direction of the cam. The crown surface is formed in a spherical protruding shape to have its uppermost portion at a center of the crown surface. A protruding amount of the spherical protruding shape is set to range from 11 μm to 50 μm.

    摘要： Disclosed herein is a variable spring force intake valve for use in two- or four-stroke internal combustion engines. The device comprises an intake valve body and a torsion spring attached to a gear and rod assembly. Manipulation, via manual or automated means, of the gear and rod assembly adjusts the tension/torsion force exerted by the torsion spring to preload the intake valve and/or to hold the intake valve in the closed position. Varying the tension/torsion force results in an ability to control the timing and the degree to which the ports of the intake valve are actually opened during the operating cycle of the piston, thereby providing a user with an opportunity to enhance the operation of a two- or four-stroke internal combustion engine.
