    摘要： Systems and methods for draining fuel from a carburetor of a combustion engine can include a first control valve in communication between a fuel source and a fuel chamber of a carburetor and a second control valve in communication between the fuel chamber of the carburetor and a drain reservoir. The first and second control valves can be coupled and operable such that, upon disengagement of the engine, the first control valve can be closed to block a supply of fuel to the fuel chamber, and the second control valve can be opened to connect the drain reservoir to the fuel chamber, which can operate to draw liquid fuel from the fuel chamber into the drain reservoir. The fuel can then be moved from the drain reservoir into a fuel storage tank, where it can be stored until needed by the carburetor.

    摘要： A twin air valve carbureter has a single bar which extends diametrically across the two draught tubes upstream thereof, and two air valve flaps which are mounted on opposite sides of the bar, so as to extend across both draught tubes, and are hinged at their ends remote from the bar. Both the flaps co-operate with the bar to define a throat of variable area. The fuel discharge ports are formed in the bar and comprise outwardly-divergent slot ports. A depression responsive fluid pressure motor is linked to each of the flaps to provide compensation for the effect of the reduction of the effective area of each flap as that flap opens. A novel linkage is disclosed for linking a fuel metering needle to one of the flaps.

    摘要： A carburetor has a carburetor body having a venturi passage that conveys air from an air inlet to an air outlet. A throttle valve controls flow of the air in the venturi passage. The throttle valve is movable into a closed position, an open position, and at least one transition position between the closed position and the open position. A fuel bowl holds fuel for mixing with the air in the venturi passage. A main nozzle discharges the fuel from the fuel bowl to the air in the venturi passage when the throttle is in the open position. A secondary circuit that is smaller than the main nozzle discharges fuel from the fuel bowl to the air in the venturi passage when the throttle is in the closed position, the transition position, and the open position. A filter is configured to remove particulate matter from the fuel in the fuel howl prior to discharge via the secondary circuit. Methods are for making the carburetor and operating the carburetor.

The intake path is connected to an intake port of an engine, and is opened and closed by a throttle valve. The constant volume fuel chamber is provided below the intake path, constantly stores a certain amount of fuel, and has an upper space connected to an air vent. An upper end of the fuel nozzle opens to the intake path to spray fuel of the constant volume fuel chamber to the intake path. The fuel nozzle is connected to a fuel passage communicating to the underneath of a fuel level of the constant volume fuel chamber, and a fuel pump which feeds fuel to the fuel nozzle is interposed in the fuel passage.
