    摘要: An apparatus and a method are provided for an inline fuel pump for conveying liquid fuel from a fuel source to an intake of an internal combustion engine. The inline fuel pump operates with various fuels, such as gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, gasoline-ethanol blends, as well as commonly used fuel additives. The inline fuel pump comprises an inlet placed into fluid communication with the fuel source. An outlet of the inline fuel pump is placed into fluid communication with the intake. An electric motor coupled with an internal liquid pump convey liquid fuel from the inlet to the outlet. The electric motor and the internal liquid pump are housed within a sealed case configured to protect the electric motor and the liquid pump from an exterior environment. Power leads convey electrical power from an electrical system of the vehicle to the electric motor.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an on-line cleaning control system and method for carbon deposits in a direct injection engine fuel system. The system comprises a cleaner tank, a cleaner input pipeline, an electromagnetic flow controller and a control circuit. A liquid transfer pump is in series connection with a pipeline of the cleaner input pipeline and the cleaner tank; when the conditions that fuel is injected through a fuel injector of the engine, the temperature of a three-way catalytic converter is lower than 800° C., the rotational speed of the engine is greater than 1200 rpm and the cleaning time is shorter than set cleaning time are met, the control circuit starts a cleaning working procedure to inject a cleaner into an intake manifold of the engine. According to the present invention, the liquid transfer pump is used for actively injecting the cleaner into an intake valve of the engine, and besides, the optimal cleaning condition of the engine is controlled; a starting switch can be arranged in a cab so that on-line cleaning for the carbon deposits in the intake valve and a combustion chamber of the engine is performed actively according to the usage state of an automobile; and also, by receiving a mileage signal and presetting a mileage starting value in the controller, on-line cleaning for the carbon deposits in the intake valve and the combustion chamber of the engine can be performed automatically and periodically in accordance with mileages.

    摘要: An engine decarbonizing system comprises a manifold with one central and four lateral bores. Pressurized air and decarbonizing fluid in separate containers are adapted to be co-mingled and fed to and through the manifold. A tube assembly has an output tube and two parallel input tubes operatively coupled. The output tube is coupled to the central bore and the two parallel input tubes are coupled to the containers for dispensing pressurized decarbonizing fluid. Four short tubes are coupled to the lateral bores and second ends have a rigid cylindrical nozzle selectively positionable within a spark plug for the delivery of a spray of pressurized decarbonizing fluid. Four switches are coupled to the manifold adjacent to the interface between a short tube and a short bore for selectively allowing or precluding the flow of decarbonizing fluid.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for removing internal carbon deposits and related residue and contaminants from fuel injected and carbureted internal combustion engine systems by delivering fuel to the inlet of the engine fuel pump while the engine is cranked by battery power to start the engine and then delivering an engine conditioning fuel, which is a mixture of normal engine fuel and a carbon cleaning agent, to the fuel pump inlet so that the conditioning fuel passes through and removes carbon deposits from the engine fuel injectors or carburetor, as the case may be, and is then combusted in the engine cylinders to power the engine. The effectiveness of the carbon cleaning operation is determined by monitoring the flow rate of normal engine fuel to the engine.

    摘要: A fuel injector (1) is provided which comprises a valve member (11), a valve member guide (12) and a spring chamber (40). Discharge of fuel out of a fuel injector outlet (21) is controlled by movement of the valve member (11) within a bore (23) of the valve member guide (12). The spring chamber (40) contains a biasing member (50), for example a compression spring, which biases the valve member (11) into contact with a valve seat (20) when in a closed configuration.A fuel supply passage (80) is provided, which by-passes the spring chamber (40), to direct a flow of the fuel to an outlet chamber (22) of the fuel injector (1) and a cleaning fluid supply passage (90) is provided to supply a pressurised cleaning fluid to a second end (25) of the bore (23) to restrict leakage of the fuel from the outlet chamber (22) towards the second end (25) of the bore (23) along a clearance (29) extending between the valve member (11) and the valve member guide (12).
