摘要: An anchoring and lifting system for a wind turbine tower having a tower base; a plurality of base anchors attached to the tower base; an anchor outrigger attached to and extending laterally outward from the tower base; at least one secondary anchor attached to the anchor outrigger; a lifting outrigger attached to a hinge wherein the hinge connects the tower base and a tower for moving the tower between a raised position and a lowered position; a static cable connected between a distal end of the lifting outrigger and a hub attached to the tower; and, a lifting cable attached between the distal end of the lifting outrigger and a winch, wherein the winch is carried by the tower base.

摘要: A vertical-axis renewable-power generator is an apparatus that is used to efficiently generate power in various weather conditions using renewable energy sources. The apparatus includes a vertically-oriented foil and a fluid turbine. The foil is designed to generate areas of relative high fluid velocity and low pressure on one side and relative lower fluid velocity and higher pressure on the opposite side. The foil is also self-directing so that the foil can follow the direction of the fluid flow. The fluid turbine is integrated into the foil so that the fluid turbine can be rotated by the high-speed fluid flow. The rotation of the fluid turbine can be used to generate electricity. The apparatus conforms to the Bernoulli's principle that is proven to increase the speed of the fluid flow over the foil, which is used to increase the speed of the fluid flow impacting the fluid turbine.

摘要: A powered augmented fluid turbine for generating electricity from a fluid in motion comprising: a central annular ducted channel extending between an inlet distribution header and an outlet distribution header, the channel comprising a converging section configured to accelerate the fluid received at the inlet distribution header, a turbine assembly for generating electricity, and a diffuser section configured to decelerate the fluid before it exits at the outlet distribution header; a recycle line for transporting the exiting fluid to the inlet distribution header in a closed-loop configuration, the recycle line comprising a recycle line propulsor controllable by a recycle line controller and a recycle line heat exchanger; and a compressed fluid distribution line configured to pressurize the fluid in motion by transporting a compressed fluid from a compressed fluid source to the inlet and outlet distribution headers, the compressed fluid distribution line controllable by at least one pressure controller.

The low-pressure stage is a reaction stage having a higher degree of reaction than the medium-pressure stage.

摘要: A barge generator adapted to generate electrical power from surface currents of a body of water. The barge generator has a plurality of hull portions that form one or more tunnels along the length of the vessel. Hydrodynamic screws are received in the tunnels and coupled to an electrical generator such that water currents communicated through the tunnel impart rotational movement of the screw. A deployable curtain is extensible to funnel the currents towards the barge generator to increase the volume and velocity of water carried through the tunnel.

摘要: A regulatable air-flow acceleration unit for wind energy conversion equipment is presented. The novel regulatable air-flow acceleration unit includes a wind acceleration channel containing pressure-limiting devices arranged in a novel sequential way, protruding from above and from below into the wind acceleration channel which creates a variable degree of restriction. The pressure-limiting devices contain a regulation valve having a rotation axle connected to a tilting body that can be positioned in the radial direction in the case of air-flow acceleration units arranged in a circular cylinder section shape used in vertical axle turbines allowing for smoother and finer regulation during the movement of the tilting bodies.

Air flow may through the slot relative to an inside of the airfoil. Air flowing through the airfoil may flow through the tower. The air flowing through the tower may turn a rotor (or propeller). The rotor may turn an electrical generator to generate electricity. Each airfoil may have a slot on a high pressure side. Air flowing through the slot on the high pressure side may turn the rotor.

摘要: A diffuser, an airflow generating apparatus, and an electrical device are provided. The airflow generating apparatus includes a motor; an impeller including blades with air passages formed therebetween; and a diffuser including diffusing vanes with diffusing channels formed therebetween. In a flow region defined between a terminating end of one diffusing vane and a starting end of another adjacent diffusing vane, an intersection line between a bottom of the diffusing channel between the two diffusing vanes and its circumferential section includes a front arcuate line segment and a subsequent straight line segment, the arcuate line segment extends curvedly, outwardly and downwardly from or from adjacent an inlet end of the diffusing channel, the straight line segment connects to the arcuate line segment and extends to an outlet end of the diffusing channel. The diffusing channel is designed to improve the operating efficiency of the airflow generating apparatus.
