The system includes a pitch motor for rotating each rotor blade (18), second pitch sensors (72) for determining when the rotor blade (18) is rotated to a set point, and a backup pitch controller (80). After a fault is detected, the method determines whether the wind speed in the vicinity of the wind turbine (10) is less than or greater than or equal to a maximum rated velocity of the wind turbine (10). The backup pitch controller (80) then rotates the rotor blades (18) to a specific set point based on the determination.

    摘要: Provided herein is a wind energy installation including a generator for production of electrical energy, a rotor which drives the generator and has variable pitch rotor blades and a central control device, and individual pitch devices provided individually for the rotor blades. The individual pitch devices may include an adjustment drive, a communication link to the central control device and a regulator, the rotor blades being adjustable in order to slow down the wind energy installation to a shut-down position. The individual pitch devices may also include a disturbance situation detector which is designed to identify abnormal operating states and to move the rotor blades to a shut-down position. Also provided herein is the method of operating such a wind energy installation.

A start judgment unit judges a start condition to start the gas pressure judgment unit every predetermined period or when a start switch is operated.

The present invention achieves the object by including a piston connected to the rotor blade; a cylinder that moves the piston by a hydraulic pressure; an urging member that urges the piston in one direction; an accumulator that is connected to the cylinder, and supplies hydraulic oil urging the piston in an opposite direction to a direction where the piston is urged by the urging member to the cylinder; and an on/off valve that controls opening or closing of a channel between the accumulator and the cylinder.

    摘要: An actuating drive for a rotor blade in a wind power installation is provided with an electric motor and a frequency converter which has a rectifier that is to be fed from a power supply system, a link connected to the rectifier, and a d.c.-to-a.c. inverter for feeding the motor, the link carrying a specified nominal operating voltage in a network-fed normal operation of the frequency converter. Furthermore, an auxiliary energy supply device is provided that is connected to the link. The auxiliary energy supply device includes and energy store which makes available a support voltage that amounts to less than 80% of the nominal operating voltage of the link. A diode is connected between the energy store and the link, and is arranged, with regard to its forward direction, in such a way that it feeds a support voltage from the energy store into the link if the link voltage falls below the support voltage. The diode prevents a current flow between the energy store and the link if the link voltage is greater than the support voltage. A charging device for the energy store has a lower charging voltage than the nominal operating voltage of the link.
