    摘要: The servovalve comprises an electric motor and a distributor valve integrating a hydraulic slide under the control of said electric motor and further comprising two load channels pierced in a central rod on which blocks are mounted for co-operating with communication orifices of the distributor valve and co-operating with one another and with the ends of the hydraulic slide to define annular chambers including two load chambers connected to the receiver member to be controlled. The two load channels put each of the load chambers into communication respectively with an immediately adjacent annular chamber so as to ensure that the same pressure exists on both sides of the blocks separating said two chambers. In a predetermined safe position (referred to a “fail-freeze” position) in which the blocks close the load orifices with clearance, the leaks through the load orifices that result from the clearance are drained at determined low pressure, thus enabling the drift of the controlled member to be controlled.

    摘要: A control valve including a second stage spool for controlling flow of fluid from a source thereof to a load. The valve includes one additional pressure slot and one additional return slot on each side thereof and separated by a land on the spool from the usual pressure and return slots respectively. Each of the spool lands separating the pressure and return slots defines and opening therethrough to interconnect the slots so that upon movement of the spool to connect the source to the load, a greater flow of fluid is provided and would be possible with the same size spool without the additional pressure and return slots.

    摘要: A fluid pressure device wherein a relatively low powered analog electrical signal accurately controls the position of the output member of a fluid pressure powered actuator which in turn can be used to exert mechanical forces or operate mechanical devices such as fluid pumps, motors or valves. Inlet and outlet passages communicate a control pressure chamber to high and low pressures respectively. A control element totally within the chamber so as to have balanced pressure forces thereon and made of a magnetically sensitive material is moved to a fixed position in the chamber proportional to the strength of an externally generated magnetic field. At least one of the passages moves with the output member so as to be opened or closed by the control element relative to the other passage. The output member follows the control element automatically varying the pressure in the chamber to compensate for any variations in the external forces thereon. The output member includes a rod like element having a port in its side for one of the passages and the control element is a sleeve surrounding the rod and can be moved by any externally controlled means including the magnetic field or an external mechanical interconnection.

    摘要: A fail-fixed servovalve includes a jet pipe for discharging a pressurized liquid wherein the jet pipe may be selectively signaled to deflect and unbalance the pressures at opposing ends of a spool which would otherwise remain centered within a sleeve by resilient means at opposing ends thereof. The spool includes a plurality of circumferentially relieved areas interspaced between a plurality of lands with interconnecting passages therebetween wherein a servopiston may be actuated to move by pressurized liquid selectively received from the sleeve and spool such that a sudden loss of either the deflecting signal or the pressurized liquid would operate to block the flow of liquid to the servopiston, locking it in place.

    摘要: An easy to manufacture and service two-stage servo valve of the deflectable free jetstream-type is provided having a split body construction, part of which houses the second-stage or output valve spool which controls the flow of fluid through actuating ports with respect to supply and return ports, and the other part of which supports the jet deflector hydraulic amplifier and torque motor to constitute a separable first-stage assembly. Although there is mechanical force feedback between the valve spool and armature of the torque motor, the servo valve is so constructed that no feedback forces are transmitted through the jetstream deflector. This enables the deflector to be designed as a nonstructural element for ease of manufacture and made of a material having the desired physical characteristics such as one resistant to fluid erosion.
