摘要: A swirl structure-based exhaust aftertreatment device for an underground mining diesel vehicle comprises a water tank, a PM collection tank, an inlet tube, a high-speed rotary exhaust separator, an exhaust catalytic converter, a circulating NOx selective catalytic reduction system and an exhaust tube. The high-speed rotary exhaust separator comprises a Laval tube, a throat tube, a swirl tube and a first deposition tube. The concentration of toxic and harmful components in exhaust can be decreased below a concentration threshold, thus avoiding pipeline blockage caused by PM accumulation.

摘要: An embodiment of an exhaust handling system for a marine vessel includes a cap connected to a top end portion of an exhaust stack of the marine vessel to form an enclosure at least partially surrounding an outlet of an exhaust pipe extending through the exhaust stack. In addition, the exhaust handling system includes a collection pipe in fluid communication with the cap such that the collection pipe is to receive exhaust from the enclosure, and a coupling connected to the collection pipe that is to connect to an exhaust cleaning assembly. The exhaust cleaning system includes a tank to receive the exhaust. The cap at least partially defines a first flow path for the exhaust that extends from the enclosure to the atmosphere. The collection pipe at least partially defines a second flow path for the exhaust that extends from the enclosure to the coupling via the collection pipe.

摘要: An inlet assembly for a housing containing an aftertreatment component of an aftertreatment system comprises an inlet conduit configured to be disposed substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the housing. A flow redirection conduit is disposed downstream of the inlet conduit and is coupled to the end of the housing. A plurality of protrusions project from a sidewall of the flow redirection conduit towards an inlet face of the aftertreatment component and are configured to provide a uniform exhaust gas flow to the inlet face. Alternatively, a flow distribution plate having a plurality of slots defined substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis is disposed in the flow redirection conduit, the plate being inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis. The slots are configured to provide a uniform exhaust gas flow to the inlet face.

摘要: An internal combustion engine system is described herein. The system uses an additive added to the exhaust of the internal combustion engine to maintain a range of NO2 to NO within a range that provides for a fast SCR reaction in a selective catalyst reduction unit. The additive and the exhaust enter a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), whereby the NO2 undergoes a two-stage process. In the first stage, the NO2 from the exhaust is adsorbed onto the precious metal catalyst of the DOC and an atomic oxygen is removed from the NO2, reducing the NO2 to NO. Because of the higher reactivity of the additive, the additive scavenges a portion of the atomic oxygen from the catalyst. During the second stage of the DOC process, the NO is oxidized over the catalyst to form NO2.

摘要: An exhaust-gas treatment arrangement for an exhaust-gas system of a combustion engine has a first exhaust-gas treatment unit and, downstream thereof, an exhaust-gas treatment assembly. The treatment unit and the treatment assembly are arranged axially one after the other in the direction of a flow-path longitudinal axis of a flow path including the treatment unit and the treatment assembly. A hydrocarbon introducer for introducing hydrocarbon into exhaust gas flowing in the flow path is in the flow path substantially axially between the treatment unit and the treatment assembly. The hydrocarbon introducer includes an introduction ring flow channel annularly surrounding the flow-path longitudinal axis. The channel is open in an upstream end region toward an outlet region of the treatment unit and is open in a downstream end region toward an inlet region of the treatment assembly. The hydrocarbon introduction assembly includes a discharging unit for discharging hydrocarbon into the channel.
