    摘要: A method for manufacturing a bolting part, such as a screw or a nut. The bolting part having a head with a periphery having at least one shoulder extending in a radial plane. The method includes at least the following forming steps: shearing of a wire of material so as to obtain a part of determined length, calibration of the part so as to correct the geometry of the part, rough machining of the calibrated part so as to obtain the head of the bolting part, and finishing of the rough-machined part by means of a third punch so as to form a head having at least one shoulder. The calibration, rough machining and finishing steps being carried out only by cold heading.

    摘要: A cross-recessed head screw has in its head a tool engagement recess including first releasing surfaces which are adapted to be engaged with generally flat front edges of an end of a cross-headed tip screwdriver and have the function of moving the screwdriver backward when the screwdriver is turned in the reverse direction for loosening the screw. The tool engagement recess further has second releasing surfaces each contiguous to a corresponding one of the first releasing surfaces and serve to guide the backward movement of the screwdriver as the latter is turned in the screw-loosening reverse direction. By virtue of engagement between the first releasing surfaces and the front edges of the screwdriver, the reverse rotation of the screwdriver produces only a small friction torque which is quite insufficient to cause rotation of the screw in the screw-loosening direction. The first releasing surfaces project from the second releasing surfaces toward the axis of the tool engagement recess, so that when a screwdriver one size smaller than the specified screwdriver is inserted into the tool engagement recess, a tip end of the one-size-smaller screwdriver comes into abutment with only a small area extending in the vicinity of inner edges of the respective first releasing surface. With this small contact area provided between the tool tip and the first releasing surfaces, the screwdriver is likely to slip or turn freely when it is rotated in the reverse direction.

The head portion has a generally planar end surface having a polygonal drive recess therein. A generally longitudinal chip relief slot is formed along the thread and defines a longitudinal thread profile cutting edge. The underside of the head portion is defined by a generally concave annular surface having a plurality of outwardly projecting serrations formed about its periphery which burr into the workpiece and effect a self-locking action therewith as the screw is threaded into the workpiece.

The fastening element drive design includes at least two drive surfaces formed on the fastening element for transmission of a torque suitable for rotation with a tool in a first rotation direction and transition surfaces disposed between these drive surfaces. The transition surfaces form a guide surface for the tool when rotating the tool in the first rotation direction and upon engagement of the tool in the other rotation direction causes an axial outward displacement of the tool, wherein the transition surfaces are formed as outside surfaces, and wherein the outside of the fastening element, outside the transition surfaces and the drive surfaces, lies in a cylindrical jacket forming a recess.

    摘要: An anti-theft fastening device for fastening an SBW motor externally mounted to a transmission case that includes a bolt having a head portion and a threaded portion integrally formed with the head portion, a bottomed tubular bolt cover having an opening end, and a cap member closing the opening end of the bolt cover. The bolt cover has a through bore to allow the threaded portion of the bolt to pass through, a bottom portion abutting a bottom surface of the head portion of the bolt, and a grip portion projecting from an outer circumference of the bottom portion and surrounding a periphery of the head portion of the bolt. When the threaded portion of the bolt is screwed into a threaded groove of the transmission case, the bottom portion of the bolt cover is interposed between the bottom surface of the head portion and each fastening portion of a bracket portion.
