The flexibility is created through the use of at least one helical slot formed generally in the center segment of the element. Additional flexible segments also have at least one helical slot in either the same helical rotation and pattern or in an opposite rotation and/or different pattern. An elastomeric material can fill the hollow body, extend into the slots and/or encompass the exterior. The flexible fastening device can have a hollow body, including leading and trailing edge, or can have a partially hollow body.

    摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide systems for connecting a flooring system to a vertical wall. In one embodiment the building structure includes a floor comprising a cementitious slab and a wall supporting at least a portion of the cementitious slab. A plurality of stand-off screws extend from the top of the wall into the cementitious slab and are configured to transfer forces between the cementitious slab and the wall. The stand-off screws comprise a lower screw portion and an upper stand-off portion. The lower screw portion is drilled into the top of the wall, and the upper stand-off portion extends above the top of the wall and is encapsulated within the cementitious slab. In some embodiments, at least a portion of the lower screw portion is heat treated to a higher degree of hardness relative to the remainder of the stand-off screw.

    摘要： The mounting device has an elongated body having a wood screw on one end and a (machine screw) threaded hole at its other end. The drift pin mounted in the cross bore provides a handle for screwing the body into a tree or post. The body at said other end has a hexagonal exterior enabling use of a wrench to screw the device into the tree. When the device is mounted in a tree an archer can transfer the container of a "trailer" from his bow to the device, thus freeing the archer to do other things while waiting for his prey to die.
