摘要： A bicycle control cable is provided with a central wire and at least one resin string. The at least one string made of resin is spirally wound onto the radially outermost surface in a direction intersecting with a center longitudinal axis of the central wire with a pitch less than or equal to 1 millimeter. The at least one resin string defines a spiral gap between adjacent windings of the at least one resin string. The at least one resin string defines an outer sliding surface for reducing a sliding resistance of the central wire. The central wire and the at least one resin string define an inner wire configured to slidably move in an axial direction with respect to the center longitudinal axis of the central wire within an outer case to operate a bicycle component.

摘要： The invention provides a grease composition for constant velocity joint containing the components (a) to (g) below and a constant velocity joint containing said composition.(a) a diurea thickening agent having the following formula (1): R1NH—CO—NH—C6H4-p-CH2—C6H4-p-NH—CO—NHR2 (1) wherein R1 and R2 may be the same or different and represent C8-C20 alkyl groups, (b) an ester synthetic oil, (c) a mineral oil and/or a synthetic hydrocarbon oil, (d) a molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate, (e) molybdenum disulfide, (f) a polytetrafluoroethylene, and (g) a zinc dithiophosphate compound. The grease composition of the invention reduces variations in rotational resistance of the constant velocity joint at a low temperature.

The inventive transmission device comprises a flexible shaft and a casing which houses the shaft therein. The aforementioned casing comprises a core consisting of a hollow cylinder having an inner diameter which is dimensioned such as to enable the rotation of the shaft inside said core. The core of the device comprises at least one bearing-forming zone which is obtained by means of plastic deformation, said zone comprising at least three parts, namely: two outer parts and one central part. The axes of the above-mentioned parts are essentially parallel to that of the core while the diameter of said parts is essentially equal to that of the core. Moreover, the outer parts are substantially coaxial and comprise an axis which is offset in relation to the axes of the central part and the core.

Lubrication liquid is dropped to the lubrication sleeve via the aperture. The cable extends through the lubrication sleeve so as to be lubricated during operation. A seal member seals the aperture.

摘要： An end cap for a bicycle cable of the type wherein an inner cable slides within an outer casing includes a housing defining a hollow lubricant-filled chamber. The housing has a first end defining an opening for receiving the inner cable therethrough and a second end adapted to fit to the outer casing of the bicycle control cable. A first screen screens the opening at the first end of the housing, wherein the first screen is structured to rupture when the inner cable is passed therethrough. A displaceable second screen screens the second end of the housing. A seal is disposed at the first end of the housing. The seal includes an annular seal member defining an inner area, and the seal member is sized to sealingly fit over the outer periphery of the inner cable of the bicycle control cable.

摘要： A lubricant and seal arrangement for the control cable and control cable housing of a marine steering system wherein the control cable is connected at one end to move the control cable longitudinally and at its other end to a tubular member that is telescopically movable in the control cable housing in response to movement of the control cable upon rotation of the steering wheel of the marine system which arrangement includes the tubular control cable housing with a longitudinal bore therethrough to receive the control cable through and into the bore and an open end at the other end of the bore. An inner tubular member extends from said one end of the control cable housing in spaced radial relation thereto to form an annular extending void and a tubular member is connected to the other end of the axial control cable. The tubular member is telescopically reciprocable through the open end bore of the control cable housing in response to movement of the cable and a seal adjacent the control cable housing open end sealably engages the tubular member.

The control cable shows excellent load efficiency and can be smoothly operated for a long period of time.
