    摘要: A compact bearing system capable of variable load carrying capability and precision motion on a guideway includes a bearing body, a fluid medium, a sealing bearing member and a pressurizing actuation means installed as an integral part of the bearing body. The bearing body includes an internal pocket with an open side facing a surface of said guideway. The fluid medium is contained inside said internal pocket and is in contact with said surface of said guideway on said open side. The sealing bearing member is in contact with said surface of said guideway and seals a clearance between said bearing body and said surface of said guideway to limit leakage of said fluid medium. The pressurizing actuation means pressurizes the confined fluid medium through a small passage, and the pressurized fluid medium carrying a main portion of a load carried on said compact bearing system.

    摘要: A method for adjusting a fluid gap in fluid film bearings comprising the steps of applying a load to the bearing, measuring fluid pressure of the fluid film, determining the fluid gap using a known relationship between the bearing load applied versus gap and corresponding fluid pressure and adjusting the gap to a desired width using the known relationship between the bearing load applied versus gap and corresponding fluid pressure. Predetermined measurements of film gage pressure, supply gage pressure and gap distance can be used to determine the ratio of absolute film pressure to absolute input pressure which, in turn, can be used to determine a formula for calculating unknown gap distances.

A variation of the second fluid pressure is smaller than a variation of the first fluid pressure. When the first urging force and the second urging force are balanced with each other in a horizontal direction, the gap between the vertical guide face and the vertical slide face becomes a set value.

A control system for the wind turbine includes a controller operatively coupled to the bearing assembly and the at least one sub-system, and at least one sensor for monitoring at least one parameter indicative of a load on the shaft. The controller signals the sub-system or the bearing assembly when the threshold criteria is met.

    摘要: An active/self-sensing compensating hydrostatic bearing is disposed between first and second structures to allow relative movement between the first and second structures. The hydrostatic bearing includes a body and a compensator. The body, fixed to the first structure and separated from the second structure by a first gap, has a chamber and an input passage and an output passage both communicating with the chamber. The compensator is disposed in the chamber. A compensating passage, communicating with the input passage and the output passage, is formed between the body and the compensator. A pressurized fluid flows from the input passage to the output passage through the compensating passage, and the pressurized fluid in the output passage flows to the first gap to maintain the stability and the rigidity for the relative movement between the first and second structures. A hydrostatic bearing module using the hydrostatic bearing is also disclosed.

The variable flow-rate adjusting portion is configured such that a fluid supply chamber is separated from a fluid storage chamber having a projection by a leaf spring that faces the projection with a predetermined clearance left therebetween, and the projection has an opening and a flow passage that is in communication with the pocket. In the variable flow-rate hydrostatic bearing, a fixed orifice that provides communication between the fluid supply chamber and the fluid storage chamber is formed in the leaf spring at a portion that does not face the projection.

    摘要: A self-compensating hydrostatic journal bearing is disclosed, which is substantially a base provided for a spindle to mounted thereat passing through a hole thereof, while allowing a gap to be formed between the circumference surface of the hole and the spindle for a hydraulic fluid to flow therethrough. There are at least two oil holes formed on the base, and correspondingly, there are at least two first chambers formed on the circumference surface for allowing each first chamber to be in fluid communication with one of the at least two oil holes, and for each first chamber, there is one second chamber being arranged in the vicinity thereof. When the spindle is forced to bias, the gap axially opposite to the bias is changed for causing the hydraulic fluid to flow inside the channels between the first chambers and the second chambers correspondingly and thus accomplishing a fluid self-compensating process.
