Of the component members of a roller clutch 10b, a first support bearing 29 and second support bearing 30, an outer-ring member 27 is common. A first race member 33, which functions as the inner ring of the first support bearing 29, and a clutch inner-ring member 28 are a single body. The clutch inner-ring member 28 and a second race member 34 of the second support bearing 30 are separate bodies. A clutch retainer 15b is held between the back-end sections of concave sections 19 of a cam surface 18 and the end edge of the second race member 34, and displacement in the axial direction of the clutch retainer 15b is suppressed. As a result, the clutch retainer 15b is prevented from hindering the rotation of the first support bearing 29 and second support bearing 30.

These elements delimit an annular housing including a one-way clutch device and at least one rolling bearing positioned beside the one-way clutch device. The mechanical system is characterized in that the one-way clutch device is lubricated by a lubricant of a first type, in that the rolling bearing or bearings are lubricated by at least one lubricant of a second type, and in that the lubricant of the first type and the lubricant of the second type are different from and compatible with one another. The invention also relates to an alternator comprising such a system configured as a pulley, and to a method of manufacturing such a mechanical system.
