摘要: A balancer driven gear of an engine, for the transfer of rotation of the crankshaft to a balancer shaft, is made up of a gear member, a bush member and elastic members and interposed therebetween. The bush member has a boss portion fixed to the balancer shaft, and a plurality of outward dowels projecting radially outward from the outer periphery of the boss portion. The gear member is disposed coaxially with the bush member. The gear member has an annular portion with gear teeth on the outer periphery thereof and a plurality of inward dowels projecting radially inward from the inner periphery of the annular portion. Elastic members are disposed between the outward dowels on the bush member 20 and the inward dowels on the gear member. The shapes and/or dimensions of the dowels positioned on opposite sides with respect to the axis of the balancer driven gear are made asymmetric.

摘要: A damper disc assembly includes a drive plate rotatably connected to a driving power source, a driven plate connected to a driven side and being rotatable relative to the drive plate, a damping mechanism adjusted to absorb an impact caused between the drive plate and the driven plate in response to the relative rotation between the drive plate and the driven plate. The damping mechanism positioned at the driven plate. The damping mechanism includes a coil spring, and a torsion damper disposed in the coil spring. The torsion damper includes at least one guiding portion having a predetermined clearance relative to an inner side of the coil spring and a cushion portion integral with the at least one guiding portion inside the guiding portion.

摘要: A hole is formed in a damper rubber, where by when a compressive load is small, pillar portions undergo a flexural deformation so as to result in buckling deformation. On the other hand, when the compressive load becomes large, the hole collapses and the damper rubber under goes a compressive deformation so as to collapse itself. Thus, since the damper rubber has a non-linear characteristic such that an elastic modulus thereof at an amount of deformation exceeding a predetermined amount is larger than that at an amount of deformation less than the predetermined amount, the transmission of a large torque can be implemented while absorbing a torque fluctuation sufficiently.

摘要: A clutch having a primary part and a secondary part for coupling together two coaxial rotating shafts including a driven shaft. The second part includes a driving disk, a trailing disk and tangential spring bodies forming a non-positive, engaging relationship between the driving disk and the trailing disk. At least one tangential spring body is a clamping body which is disposed within the second recess and abuts the radial edges of the first recess. The clamping body includes a cylinder, a piston slidably disposed within the cylinder to form a closed cylinder space. A cylindrical body made of an elastic material is disposed within the cylinder space. The cylindrical body completely occupies the cylinder space under initial axial compression of the piston whereby the cylindrical body absorbs further axial forces as an incompressible medium.

摘要: A clutch disc, particularly for use in motor vehicles, having at least two different types of elastic means, such as coil springs and elastic members of rubber, for absorbing torsional vibrations of the clutch disc, wherein openings in which one of the two different types of elastic means are disposed are designed such that no elastic force will act in one of the torque transmitting directions of the clutch disc, whereby it is possible to eliminate abnormal noises which are generated during substantially any stage of the torque transmission.

Wrong assembly such as reverse assembly is prevented by the following configuration. The bush member 20 has a boss portion 21 fixed to the balancer shaft 8, and a plurality of outward dowels 23a, 23b, . . . projecting radially outward from the outer periphery of the boss portion 21. The gear member 30 is disposed coaxially with the bush member 20. The gear member 30 has an annular portion 31 with gear teeth on the outer periphery thereof and a plurality of inward dowels 33a, 33b, . . . projecting radially inward from the inner periphery of the annular portion 31. Elastic members 41 and 45 are disposed between the outward dowels 23a . . . on the bush member 20 and the inward dowels 33a . . . on the gear member 30. The shapes and/or dimensions of the dowels positioned on opposite sides with respect to the axis of the balancer driven gear are made asymmetric.

摘要: A twin mass flywheel (10) in which two co-axially arranged flywheel masses (11,12) are mounted for limited angular rotation relative to each other and a plurality of pivotal linkages (40) interconnect the two flywheel masses. Each linkage comprises a first link (41) pivotally connected (43) to one (12) of the flywheel masses, a second link (42) pivotally connected (44) to the other (11) of the flywheel masses, and a pivot (45) for pivotally connecting the first and second links. A resilient member in the form of an elastomeric torsion unit (46) or spring (36) is associated with the pivotal connection (44) of at least one link (42) with its associated flywheel (11) for controlling the relative rotation of said flywheel masses (11, 12).

摘要: A torsion damper for a clutch disc is disposed in window holes provided in power input and output rotating elements of the clutch disc, for elastically coupling the power input and output rotating elements in a direction of their rotation. The torsion damper includes a pair of seat elements (11) and a rubber element (12) therebetween. In one embodiment, the rubber element (12) is positioned between both the seat elements (11) and is capable of expanding and contracting. The rubber element includes a projection (20) and a through-hole (16) is provided in each of the seat elements (11).
