    Abstract: A check valve may include: a check seat defining a flow path and including downstream and upstream sides; a poppet assembly including a poppet body and a poppet seat, the poppet seat configured to form a fluid-tight seal with the downstream side; at least one first extension extending upstream from the poppet body and including a roller; and at least one cam arm disposed at least partially upstream of the poppet body and the check seat and configured to engage with the at least one roller; and at least one cam arm disposed at least partially upstream of the poppet body and the check seat and configured to engage with the at least one roller. Engagement between the at least one cam arm and the at least one roller is configured to urge the poppet in the upstream direction.

    Abstract: Welded check valves include a poppet assembly, a spring, and a disc that contacts the spring. The disc may be held at a position away from a weld when forming the welded check valve. Embodiments may include retention features configured to allow one or more of the poppet assembly and disc to pass the retention features in an assembly orientation, and to retain those elements when they are in an operational orientation. Methods include inserting the poppet assembly, contacting the poppet assembly with a spring, inserting a disc, retaining the disc away from a weld side, and welding the check valve together. The poppet assembly and/or disc may pass one or more retaining features when inserted, and be retained by the retaining features when the check valve is operated. The weld may be a thermal weld.

    Abstract: Poppet valve for a piston compressor, having a valve body with a plurality of inlet ducts, wherein each inlet duct has an inlet section and an outlet section. The outlet section opens into a valve seat, wherein each inlet duct is assigned a closing element and a spring.     Abstract: A pressure relief valve includes a valve seat at the outlet, a valve body, and an air dashpot damper. In some embodiments, the valve body is configured to engage the valve seat and move along a central axis relative to the valve seat in response to a pressure at the outlet to regulate a flow of combustible gas through the outlet. In some embodiments, the air dashpot damper includes a tubular member having a closed distal end and an open proximal end, and a piston member received within the tubular member. In some embodiments, the tubular member or the piston member is attached to the valve body, and the piston moves relative to the tubular member along an axis of the tubular member in response to movement of the valve body relative to the valve seat.     Abstract: A coupling apparatus for a floor drain which includes a hollow body having an exterior surface and an interior surface, with the interior surface defining a flow chamber. A primary inlet extends through the exterior surface of the body into the flow chamber; the primary inlet being of a first size to accommodate a drainage line from a hot water tank. At least one secondary inlet extends through the exterior surface of the body into the flow chamber. Each secondary inlet is of a second size, smaller than the primary inlet, in order to accommodate a smaller drainage line. A single outlet through the exterior surface of the body is provided for draining the flow chamber.

    Abstract: A check valve is provided which may be installed horizontally or in other non-vertical orientations, and used with variable frequency drives and other applications without the valve becoming misaligned. In one aspect, the valve includes a housing with an inner surface and a passage. A flange within the housing divides the housing into upstream and downstream portions, and extends around the inner surface, defining a valve seat and a valve aperture. A poppet is positioned in the downstream portion. The poppet includes a valve head and a plurality of guide legs extending from the valve head and into the downstream portion, and not through the valve aperture. The valve head is resiliently biased in the closed position against the valve seat to inhibit fluid flow in a first direction. A guide disposed within the housing receives the plurality of guide legs of the poppet valve as the poppet valve moves between an open position and a closed position.
