    摘要: In a door for an air conditioner provided with a pair of seal lips, an abutting force of the door is equalized whichever seal lip abuts on the seat portion first, and flexibility of the seal lips is secured, and further, noise occurring due to air passing between an inner wall of a case and the seal lips can be reduced. A seal structure provided in a door body of a door for an air conditioner is configured by including a pair of seal lips provided along an axial direction or a radial direction of a rotary shaft and protruding toward the outside of the door body, and an auxiliary lip provided between the pair of seal lips and protruding toward the outside of the door body, in which a tip end portion of the auxiliary lip is extended farther from a virtual line connecting respective tip end portions of the pair of seal lips and angles made by the auxiliary lip and the respective seal lips are equalized, and a protruding amount of the auxiliary lip is set so that the auxiliary lip does not contact an inner wall of the case.

    摘要: A HVAC system includes a housing including at least one wall, an air flow path defined at least partially by the at least one wall, and a door disposed in the air flow path, where the door is configured to i) block a flow of air through the air flow path when the door is in at least one closed position, and ii) allow the flow of air through the air flow path when the door is in a position other than the at least one closed position. A gap is formed between the door and the at least one wall when the door is in the position other than the at least one closed position. The HVAC system further includes a noise-reducing feature defined on at least a portion of the at least one wall. The noise-reducing feature configured to break up, into several smaller structures, an air flow structure formed when air flowing through the gap contacts an end of the door, thereby reducing air vibration in the gap and reducing noise of the HVAC system during operation thereof.

    摘要: A low cost air damper that provides a good seal with low torque requirements. Blade seals of square cross sectional configuration are provided on each damper blade so that the blade seals engage adjacent blades before the blades are fully closed. L-shaped side seals and multiple discs that receive the ends of the blades serve collectively to seal between sides of the damper frame and the blades when the blades are closed even when the blades are not cut precisely. One edge of the L-shaped side seals engages and seals against the discs and the other edge of the side seals laps over and seals against a flat side of the blades and against the square blade seals. A low friction coating is applied to the side seals to further reduce friction.

A curved wall portion (45) curved and projected toward the center of the channel (23) is formed at that position on the wall surface (33) with which the air flow passed between one end (29) and the stationary portion (35) collides.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a variable air volume control apparatus capable of effectively reducing air overflow concentrated at one side due to a damper blade biased according to an open angle of the damper blade, thereby precisely adjusting the air volume. The variable air volume control apparatus includes a damper blade disposed rotatably inside the duct to open or close an air flow path and an actuator for rotating the damper blade. The apparatus also includes means for dividing the air flow path inside the duct at the air inlet side into an upper region and a lower region and exerting resistance to the air flow between the means and the biased damper blade. The invention effectively suppresses the air overflow occurring at high opening ratio of the damper blade with simple structural improvements, thereby accurately and precisely adjusting the air volume.

    摘要: The invention provides a flap valve for controlling the air pressure within a protected space defined by walls, the flap valve having a valve flap, articulated at least indirectly to the surface of one of the walls and being subjectable to both a sealing force which forces the valve flap against a valve seat surrounding an opening in the wall surface and to an opening force which lifts the flap off the valve seat. The flap valve has a first position in which the protected space is sealed off from a contaminated environment, and a second position in which air from the protected space is allowed to escape into the environment via the opening, wherein the sealing force is a magnetic attraction between a portion of the surface of the valve flap and the valve seat. A method for controlling the air pressure within a protected space is also provided.

    摘要: Disclosed is an anti-rattle valve feature for a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning assembly. In a typical HVAC assembly each end of an air valve shaft is received in a pivot hole permitting the air valve shaft to rotate within the assembly. Because the inside diameter of the pivot holes are larger than the outside diameter of the ends of the air valve shaft, the air valve shaft may rattle within the pivot holes. Disclosed is a finger that contacts the air valve shaft to apply pressure to the air valve shaft and biases an end of the air valve shaft against the inside of it pivot hole, thereby preventing rattling of the air valve shaft within its respective pivot holes.
