    摘要: A valve device for a fuel tank of a motor vehicle includes, for example, a housing having a tank connection for connecting the valve device to a vent line going to or coming from the fuel tank, and a filter connection for connecting the valve device to a vent line going to or coming from an activated charcoal filter. The tank connection and the filter connection are fluidically connected to one another inside the housing through a vent duct. A valve is arranged inside the housing for opening and at least partially closing the vent duct, wherein the valve has a valve element that is movably mounted between an opening position and a closed position inside the housing along a longitudinal axis of the housing. An actuating element is accessible from outside the valve device, which is movably mounted along the longitudinal axis inside the housing and motion-coupled in such a way with the valve element that a movement of the actuating element in a closing direction moves the valve element in closing direction. A valve element return element is configured to move the valve element in an opening direction, and arranged outside the vent duct, between the valve element and the housing.

    摘要: A snap-action piloted fill valve for controlling the level in a liquid storage tank, the valve having a float and a weight cup that are adjustably interconnected by an elongated sleeve slidably disposed on a stem extending upwardly from a valve body mounted inside a tank, the weight cup being further connected to a snap-action beam attached to the valve body. The snap-action beam controls operation of a pilot, which in turn causes the fill valve to open when the beam is in its upward position and to close when the beam is in its downward postion. Use as a toilet valve is also disclosed.

    摘要: An in-line valve flow controller for a Joule-Thomson cryostat. The controller has an in-line valve stem that is part of, and is collinear with, an actuation stem of the cryostat. Both the in-line valve stem and actuation stem sit in an orifice of the Joule-Thomson cryostat. This arrangement automatically positions the valve stem over its valve seat. The in-line valve flow controller integrates with a temperature dependent snap disk that is used to close the valve stem against the valve seat. Initial flow rate is determined only by the diameter of the orifice of the Joule-Thomson cryostat, and not by valve position. Bypass flow is aso set by the diameter of the orifice, which is not subject wear, and the valve stem prevents contaminates from clogging the orifice.

    摘要: A pressure sensitive valve 10 comprises a valve body 12 defining a bore 14, an inlet port 16 and an outlet port 18. The inlet port 16 is in fluid communication with the outlet port 18 and defines a fluid flow path 20. The fluid flow path 20 is in communication with the bore 14. A reverse buckling member 22 extends at least partially across the bore 14, the member 22 being adapted to reverse its conformation when a set pressure has been exceeded. The valve 10 includes means for actuating inversion of the reverse buckling member 22 when the set pressure has been exceeded. The valve 10 also includes means for sealing the reverse buckling member 22 from the fluid flow path 20.
