    摘要: A manually operable valve for controlling the displacement of a main pump in a hydrostatic transmission controls the quantity of fluid flow to the main pump for low speed operation of the transmission and controls the pressure of the fluid flowing to the main pump during periods of high speed operation of the transmission. The valve includes a pressure chamber acting to substantially balance forces on the valving element to obtain low-effort operation of the control plunger regardless of the position of the element and to automatically close the valve upon a failure in the control linkage for the plunger so that in the event the operator loses control of the valve through linkage failure all power to the transmission is cut off.

    摘要: The present invention is a method and apparatus for readmitting air into vacuum containers, such as canning jars, by incorporating a flexibly-mounted check valve in the container lid or body, and sandwiching an elastomeric seal member, such as an O Ring, between the check valve and the vacuum container's lid or wall. The check valve is flexibly mounted to the airtight container by a retainer member that permits the check valve to move vertically and horizontally and compresses the elastomeric seal member sufficiently to prevent leakage. Air is readmitted into the vacuum container by applying a force to the check valve that sufficiently decompresses a segment of the elastomeric seal member to cause leakage. The displacement force on the check valve may be applied by hand, without using any tools.

    摘要: Fluid valve actuator apparatus having internal tubing and anti-rotation features are disclosed. An example actuator apparatus includes an actuator casing and a diaphragm plate disposed within the actuator casing. The diaphragm plate defines a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber opposite the first pressure chamber. A yoke couples the actuator casing to a fluid valve. The yoke includes a first internal fluid passageway in fluid communication with atmosphere and a second internal fluid passageway to receive a control fluid from a controller. A tube fluidly couples the first or second internal fluid passageway to the first pressure chamber via an opening in the diaphragm plate. The tube also prevents the diaphragm plate from rotating relative to the actuator casing.

    摘要: A rotary ceramic tube valve is disclosed. The valve may have an outer shell and an inner ported cylinder which move in relation to each other of open and close ports on the valve. By turning the inner ported cylinder in relation to the outer shell, different orifices in the outer tube may be opened or closed. By coating the inner surface of the outer tube and the outer surface of the inner ported cylinder with a ceramic coating, friction in the valve may be reduced resulting in longer life, less heat generation, tighter tolerances and more reliable long term operation. Further, inner rotor 200 may also have cylindrical pressure balancing seals and related pressure communicating paths that provide counterforce to reduce stress on the bearings.
