摘要： A lubrication system for a gas turbine engine includes a tank, a circulation pump, and a heat exchanger. The circulation pump generates a flow of lubricant from the tank to, e.g., a power gear box of the gas turbine engine and the heat exchanger removes an amount of heat from such flow of lubricant provided to the power gear box. The lubrication system also includes one or more valves in the flow of lubricant for controlling a flowrate and/or temperature of the lubricant provided to, e.g., the power gear box to increase an efficiency and/or durability of the power gear box.

摘要： A circuit and a method for feeding oil to rolling bearings in a turbomachine is disclosed. The circuit includes an oil supply; an oil duct connecting the supply to lubrication enclosures, each enclosure containing at least one rolling bearing; an oil feed pump located between the supply and the lubrication enclosures; an oil recovery pump connected downstream from each lubrication enclosure; a pressurizing valve placed in the duct between the oil feed pump and the lubrication enclosures, the pressurizing valve being adapted to open when the pressure at its inlet exceeds a predetermined threshold pressure; a branch connection duct connecting the inlet of the pressurization valve to one of the lubrication enclosures in order to feed it with oil; and a feeding device which feeds the lubrication enclosures at a small oil flow rate so long as the pressure at the inlet of the pressurization valve has not reached the predetermined threshold.

摘要： A lubrication system for a turbine generator includes a sump having a first chamber that receives oil from the turbine generator and a second chamber from which filtered lubrication oil is supplied to the turbine generator. The chambers are interconnected by a partition wall having a flapper valve in the wall allowing unfiltered oil to bypass the filtration loop should a malfunction occur in a pump that pumps oil through the filtration loop. The flapper valve allows unfiltered oil to travel directly from the first chamber to the second chamber and thence to be pumped through the turbine generator by one or more pumps contained within the second chamber.
