    摘要: The headlight has a gas discharge lamp and a reflector. The reflector has an upper reflector region and a lower reflector region. A lens is arranged after the reflector in a light outlet direction, and a screen device is provided between the reflector and the lens. A movable screen member of the screen device is adjustable between a position for low beam in which it screens light reflected from the lower reflector region and produces a bright-dark limit, and a position for high beam in which light reflected from the lower reflector region passes past the screen member and can exit the headlight. Moreover, the movable screen member in its position for low beam is adjustable between a position for right traffic and a position for left traffic. Therefore the head light can be used in a simple manner as a high beam head light and a low beam head light, and also can be converted for the utilization for right traffic and left traffic.

    摘要: A motor vehicle headlamp has a lamp with two filaments, one of which has a masking screen so as to form a chopped or dipped beam, while the other filament is unmasked so as to produce an unchopped beam. The headlight also includes a reflector and a smooth cover lens.The reflector has an upper zone extending between two radial half planes which are inclined by the same amount below the horizontal, this upper zone being larger than the part of the reflector which is exposed to the first filament; the reflector has two lateral sub-zones with base surfaces which are symmetrical with respect to the vertical, with striations being formed by projection on the base surface, the striations being configured according to the particular type of chopped beam required. The reflector also has a second zone having a surface for cooperation with the second filament only, so as to form a wide portion of the beam and extending at least partly above the cut-off of the dipped beam.

    摘要: The headlight has a light source (10) and a reflector (12) by which light is reflected to a light guiding or deflecting device (18). The light guiding device (18) has a number, advantageousely from a few hundred to a hundred thousand, of individual reflecting elements (22) which are movable independently of each other between at least two different positions. Each reflecting element (22) is connected with an electrically operable adjusting element (26) which is controlled by a controller (30). The light reflected from the reflector (12) is reflectable from the light guide device (18) to form a light beam issuing from the lighting device. Reflected light from each reflecting element (22) in one of its positions forms a part of the light beam and does not contribute to the light beam in one of its other positions. Predetermined portions of the light beam can be switched on or off by controlling the individual light reflecting elements (22) and thus can change the characteristics of the light beam issuing from the lighting device.
