    摘要: A nozzle for injecting a cooling gas in a vacuum heat treating furnace is described. The cooling gas injection nozzle according to the present invention has a forward portion with a first central opening formed therethrough. The cooling gas injection nozzle also has a rear portion with a second central opening formed therethrough. A flap is disposed in and pivotably supported in the first central opening. The flap operates to substantially prevent the escape of heat from the hot zone during a heating cycle, but permits the injection of the cooling gas into the furnace hot zone during a cooling cycle. The cooling gas injection nozzle is supported from the hot zone wall by any appropriate means. A vacuum heat treating furnace and a hot zone therefor incorporating the cooling gas injection nozzle are also described.

    摘要: A vacuum pressure furnace and/or a cooling plate for a vacuum pressure furnace is described, having a cooling channel or tube that selectively circulates a liquid coolant at a reduced temperature. The cooling channel “snakes” back and forth through a target plate assembly to conduct heat from the target plate assembly and back to the coolant. The target plate assembly includes a plurality of clamp members that are screwed over portions of the cooling channel and to a bottom of a plate member of the assembly, enclosing portions of the cooling channel. Thermal sheets or foil are wrapped around the cooling channel, thereby bridging any gaps between the components that may occur during temperature changes due to thermal expansion/contraction.

The thermal chamber has at least a surface positioned on a side adjacent to the heat exchanger and at least a surface positioned on an opposed side to the adjacent one to the heat exchanger and wherein at least a surface has a plurality of screens which connect the inside of the thermal chamber with the inside of the bell to allow the passage of the gas atmosphere from the thermal chamber to the bell, wherein the screens are adjustable to modify the passage section and so the flow of the gas atmosphere in function of the temperature required by the thermal treatment.

    摘要: A blank heating device having a heating furnace is provided and includes a plurality of heating members that heat a blank and a support fixture disposed within the heating furnace to support the blank. Further a transporting component is disposed beneath the support fixture and integrally displaces the support fixture and the blank to increase heating density of the blank. Consequently, a divisional heating occurs based on a size of the blank, which is a material for hot stamping, to improve heating density of the blank. Accordingly, marketability of a material is improved and a preheating time and heat loss is minimized. As a result, work convenience is improved and a consumption amount of energy is reduced.
