摘要: Subsea heat exchanger (1) cooling a hydrocarbon-containing fluid by flowing seawater through it. Cooling pipes (4) are arranged in a convection section (11). The heat exchanger has an inlet (5a) and an outlet (5b) for the hydrocarbon-containing fluid, and an inlet (21) and outlet (22) for seawater. The seawater inlet (21) is connected to the cooling pipes (4). The inlet (5a) and the outlet (5b) of the hydrocarbon-containing fluid are connected to the convection section (11). The seawater can flow through the cooling pipes (4) and the hydrocarbon-containing fluid can flow in the convection section (11) in contact with the outer walls of the cooling pipes (4). The heat exchanger comprises also a cap (6) at at least one end of the cooling pipes (4), wherein the cap (6) comprises one or more receiving arrangements (8) for anodes (7) and/or one or more anodes (7).

摘要: The present invention provides a scrubbing device retractably movable into a pipe to effectively separate caking from the pipe. The scrubber comprises a plurality of metal brush wheels or is provided with bristles. The scrubber is moved into the pipe by a flexible rod, and the rod can be retractably and automatically received in a chamber by a winding machine therein. Each of the brush wheels can be formed with a plurality of helical teeth located on the circumference thereof. The caking adhered on the inner wall of the pipe can be cleanly scrubbed away by the teeth, and then the removed caking and its ashes can be effectively expelled out of the pipe by the suction of a vacuum cleaner.

摘要: A plate-fin panel for a heat exchanger may be either formed as an aluminum extrusion or fabricated from a corrugated metal sheet sandwiched between two flat metal sheets. The extruded aluminum version may be clad with protective sheet metal jackets made of, or coated with, a corrosion resistant Cu-Ni alloy. Individual panel sections can be joined together by tongue and groove engagement to obtain a total desired panel width if available extrusion press or rolling mill capacity is insufficient. The plate-fin panels are assembled into slotted headering plates, and a layer of synthetic plastics potting compound seals dissimilar metal joints against electrolytic corrosion as well as leakage and provides sufficient adhesive strength to reduce or eliminate the need for welding the panels to the headers. Mechanical brush or hydraulic jet apparatus is capable of continuously or intermittently cleaning slime or encrustations from all panel surfaces exposed to seawater.

摘要: A coil cleaner for a condenser coil of a refrigeration system includes a sweeper assembly. The sweeper assembly has a pair of parallel brushes. Two motors, one located on either side of the sweeper assembly, are coupled to a first and second screw. The sweeper assembly is connected to the first and second screw by way of two nuts. The nuts travel on their respective screws when the screws are rotated, thus moving the sweeper assembly across the condenser coil. A controller manages the operation of the sweeper assembly. When the sweeper assembly has moved a predetermined distance, the sweeper assembly contacts a pair of sensors independently controlling each of the two motors. After contact with the sensors, the motors are reversed, and the sweeper assembly moves in the opposite direction. When the sweeper assembly contacts a second pair of sensors, both motors are turned off.
