摘要: A method for estimating a virtual distance corresponding to power supplied by an electric vehicle (EV) to offboard loads includes monitoring one or more enabling conditions comprising at least one of a speed of the EV, an active/inactive mode for supplying power to one or more V2X loads, a net charging/discharging state of a battery of the electric vehicle, a plug-in charging state of the electric vehicle, and a wirelessly charging state of the electric vehicle. In response to the one or more enabling conditions, selectively integrating power output at least one of by the battery of the EV to the offboard loads and at the one or more V2X loads to generate an integrated power output value and converting the integrated power output value to a virtual distance.

摘要: Systems and methods for calibrating odometry of a materials handling vehicle. One embodiment of a method includes determining a current location of the materials handling vehicle, determining an odometry distance from the current location to a destination based on a calculation of a determined number of rotations of a wheel and a circumference of the wheel, and determining a positioning system distance from the current location to the destination. Some embodiments include comparing the odometry distance with data from the positioning system distance to calculate a scaling factor, applying the scaling factor to a fast alpha filter to achieve a fast filter result, and applying the scaling factor to a slow alpha filter to achieve a slow filter result. Similarly, some embodiments include applying the fast alpha filter to the scaling factor to smooth noise, calculating an updated odometry distance utilizing the scaling factor, and utilizing the updated odometry distance.

摘要: The method employs a computer interconnected with a GPS transceiver and a distance measurement means and operatively interconnected with a digital camera, all provided on a moving vehicle, in order to acquire a plurality of geographic location related images. A first geographic position is obtained from the GPS transceiver and a plurality of distance measurements are then received before a second geographic position is taken. A photo request is generated after a pre-determined distance has been traveled, as determined by the distance measurement means, and transmitted to the digital camera. The camera takes a photo based on the request and the photos, photo requests, first and second positions and distance measurements are stored for post-processing. The post-processing determines a path traveled by the vehicle using the positions and distance measurements in order to determine an accurate geographic location and orientation for each photo. The method is particularly suitable for use in building a database of geographically related images.

摘要: A method for checking a total distance travelled by a motor vehicle and displaying the total distance in the motor vehicle includes: detecting a change in a component of a control device of the motor vehicle, change in the component being irreversible and taking place over a time period; assigning the magnitude and/or type of the change in the component to a comparison distance, related to the time period, travelled by the motor vehicle; comparing a distance detected by an odometer of the motor vehicle during the time period with the comparison distance; and an operator of the motor vehicle retrieving a result of the comparison or the operator receiving an automatic transmission of the result of the comparison.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for determining the mileage of a tire, include measuring a first current mileage over a limited period a first time, measuring a second current mileage over a limited period a second time, providing a measurement-free rest period between the first measurement and the second measurement, and estimating the mileage during the rest period on the basis of the first current mileage and/or the second current mileage. In addition, the method is repeated, with the already performed second measurement replacing the first measurement. Since a supply of power is not needed or at least can be significantly reduced during the rest period, the power requirement for mileage determination during the life of the tire can be significantly reduced, which allows simplified supply of power for mileage determination.
