    摘要: An apparatus and method for controlling motor driven power steering system, the apparatus including: a column torque sensor detecting column torque applied to a steering column of a vehicle; an MDPS logic unit deciding a first command current based on the column torque and vehicle speed; a steering angle position control unit outputting a second command current for driving an MDPS motor in an autonomous driving mode, based on a command steering angle and a current steering angle inputted from an autonomous driving system and a steering angle sensor, respectively; a driver steering intervention determination unit monitoring the column torque of the column torque sensor in an autonomous driving mode, and determining whether a driver has intervened in steering; and an output control unit deciding a final command current by applying the weight decided by the driver steering intervention determination unit to the first and second command currents.

    摘要: A driving assistance device configured to assist a driver of a towing vehicle in vehicle operation includes: a captured image acquisition unit configured to acquire a captured image of a periphery of the towing vehicle, the captured image captured by an image capture device of the towing vehicle; an overhead image generation unit configured to, based on the captured image, generate an overhead image from above onto the periphery of the towing vehicle; a point calculation unit configured to calculate, in the overhead image, a position of a connection point for connecting a hitch ball of the towing vehicle with a coupler of a towed vehicle as an object to be towed by the towing vehicle; and an image display unit configured to display, on an image display device in the towing vehicle, the overhead image having an icon superimposed on the position of the connection point as an assistance image for assisting the driver in vehicle operation. In the driving assistance device, the point calculation unit calculates the position of the connection point in the overhead image based on a positional relationship between the image capture device and the hitch ball.

The apparatus also includes a processor configured to receive, from an autonomous driving controller that is an upper-level controller, a steering angle reference, calculate an output value for allowing an actual steering angle to track the steering angle reference, based on the steering angle reference, the value from the sensor, and the amount of the load from the load estimator, and output the output value to the steering system.
