摘要: An apparatus and method for controlling motor driven power steering system, the apparatus including: a column torque sensor detecting column torque applied to a steering column of a vehicle; an MDPS logic unit deciding a first command current based on the column torque and vehicle speed; a steering angle position control unit outputting a second command current for driving an MDPS motor in an autonomous driving mode, based on a command steering angle and a current steering angle inputted from an autonomous driving system and a steering angle sensor, respectively; a driver steering intervention determination unit monitoring the column torque of the column torque sensor in an autonomous driving mode, and determining whether a driver has intervened in steering; and an output control unit deciding a final command current by applying the weight decided by the driver steering intervention determination unit to the first and second command currents.

摘要: A driving assistance device configured to assist a driver of a towing vehicle in vehicle operation includes: a captured image acquisition unit configured to acquire a captured image of a periphery of the towing vehicle, the captured image captured by an image capture device of the towing vehicle; an overhead image generation unit configured to, based on the captured image, generate an overhead image from above onto the periphery of the towing vehicle; a point calculation unit configured to calculate, in the overhead image, a position of a connection point for connecting a hitch ball of the towing vehicle with a coupler of a towed vehicle as an object to be towed by the towing vehicle; and an image display unit configured to display, on an image display device in the towing vehicle, the overhead image having an icon superimposed on the position of the connection point as an assistance image for assisting the driver in vehicle operation. In the driving assistance device, the point calculation unit calculates the position of the connection point in the overhead image based on a positional relationship between the image capture device and the hitch ball.

A first angle sensor measures a rotational displacement of the first hydraulic actuator relative to the first steering arm. A first link couples the first hydraulic actuator and the first sensor, and isolates movements other than the first rotational displacement. A second angle sensor measures a second rotational displacement of the second hydraulic actuator relative to the second steering arm. A second link couples the second hydraulic actuator and the second sensor, and isolates movements other than the second rotational displacement.

摘要: A vehicle control method includes determining whether a driving intention of a user is a U-turn intention or a left turn intention based on image information obtained by an imager. In response to determining that the driving intention of the user is the U-turn intention or the left turn intention an obstacle is detected that may cause a collision during a U-turn driving or a left turn driving based on the image information and obstacle information detected by an obstacle detector. In response, collision avoidance control is performed with the detected obstacle based on steering angle information of the vehicle.
