    摘要： An apparatus for transmitting the rotary motion of a first shaft (as on a vehicle) to a second shaft (as on a speedometer), wherein the second shaft is at a distance from and mechanically isolated from the first shaft. It is particularly useful for transmitting the rotary motion of a motor vehicle shaft whose rotational speed is a function of the traveling speed of the motor vehicle to the magnetic shaft of an eddy current tachometer. The apparatus comprises a first pulse transmitter actuated by the vehicle shaft, and an electric motor mechanically coupled to the speedometer shaft and controlled by the first pulse transmitter. The motor is a D.C. motor, whose shaft actuates a second pulse transmitter. One of the forward or backward counting inputs of an electronic forward-backward counter is connected to the first pulse transmitter actuated by the vehicle shaft and the other of the backward or forward counting inputs of the counter is connected to the second pulse transmitter. The outputs of the counter are connected to an evaluation circuit of weighted resistors which constitutes a branch of a bridge whose potential difference across the zero diagonal serves as a control voltage for the D.C motor.

    摘要： A speedometer magnet shaft assembly having a plastic magnet shaft and integrally formed annular wall moldably secured to the magnet and flux collector. A helical gear is moulded on the annular wall for transmitting movement to the odometer. The molded magnet shaft also has a recess formed therein at each end and a peripheral recess formed therein intermediate the ends. The end recesses receive the speedometer pointer shaft and flexible shaft ends, respectively. The peripheral recess receives a portion of the speedometer frame bracket to prevent axial movement of the magnet shaft.

    摘要： A tachometer with a distance counter, in particular an eddy current tachometer with a drive shaft of a tachometer measuring device which comprises a counter stand receiving the distance counter and set on a bearing stand for the drive shaft. A speed reducing drive of the counter is operatively connected with the drive shaft by means of an intermediate shaft. The intermediate shaft driving the distance counter is divided into two shaft parts separately mounted in the bearing stand and the counter stand. A gear rim and a pinion are provided. The tachometer includes a pointer axle carrying a pointer. The gear rim is concentrically rotatably mounted about the pointer axle of the tachometer, and the shaft parts are coupled together by means of the pinion.

    摘要： A calibration arrangement for an eddy cup-type speedometer is disclosed in which a magnetic shunt is carried on a bearing sleeve located on a magnet shaft, with the shunt located intermediate the frame backwall and the shaft magnet. A spring biases the shunt against rotation relative to the magnet. Aligned apertures in the frame and housing backwalls located radially outwardly of the magnet shaft and radially inwardly of the shunt periphery enable receipt of a tool for engaging a rearwardly extending tang on the shunt to hold the shunt against rotation while the magnet is rotated to thereby adjust the angular relationship between the magnet and shunt for calibrating the speedometer.
