摘要: A mobile asset cellular device transmission detector system and method comprises a mobile asset cellular device transmission detector, a wireless processing unit, an event recorder, and a digital video recorder. The wireless processing unit includes event recorder interface software, digital video recorder interface software that obtains data from the digital video recorder, wireless navigation (Wi-Nav) software that obtains data from the Wi-Nav, global positioning system (GPS) software that obtains data from a GPS and geo-fence software. The cellular device transmission detector continually checks for cellular device transmissions within a mobile asset and whether those transmissions were associated with an impact, rollover, operator action or geo-fence defined location and/or boundary. When a cellular device transmission was made, the wireless processing unit triggers an episode and sends event recorder information, GPS location and speed, audio and video recordings, and impact and rollover information to a back office.

摘要: A system and method for exchanging information between aircraft (210). Sensors on a first aircraft (210) provide data about the first aircraft's environment, including hazards such as turbulence, icing, lightning, or birds. The system transmits the data to receiving systems in other aircraft (210), which display the data, to warn the pilots flying the other aircraft of potential hazards. The pilot of the first aircraft may supplement the information with visual observations, about birds or unmanned aerial vehicles, for example. In one embodiment, the information is transmitted from aircraft to aircraft over a data link using ADS-B. In another embodiment, a first aircraft may transmit data to a second aircraft, which may relay, or re-transmit, the data to a third aircraft.

摘要: Traffic situation determination systems, methods, and programs acquire a current position of the vehicle based on a radio signal received from a GPS satellite and determine a first travel path of the vehicle based on the acquired position of the vehicle. The systems, methods, and programs determine whether a road on which the vehicle is traveling has a traffic jam. If the road on which the vehicle is traveling has a traffic jam, the systems, methods and programs transmit first information relating to the first travel path from the vehicle to an information center. The systems, methods, and programs receive second information relating to a second travel path of the vehicle, the second information being received from a mobile phone communication center and being based on a mobile phone signal received by the mobile phone communication center. The systems, methods, and programs determine a road corresponding to the first travel path as having a traffic jam and determine a road corresponding to the second travel path, and not corresponding to the first travel path, as having no traffic jam.

摘要: A system for tracking a fleeing vehicle, using optional remote sensing to identify a payload contained in the vehicle or asset, and an optional device disabling the fleeing vehicle via disrupting the vehicle's onboard computer or electrical system. The system includes a tracking device or carrier containing tracking components, sensing equipment, and the vehicle disabling device. A launcher of the tracking device may be handheld or vehicle mounted, and may use high pressure gas or another propellant to launch the projectile at a fleeing vehicle. The electronics package may include tracking hardware, sensing hardware, and the vehicle disabling hardware. Once launched and affixed to the suspect vehicle or stationary target, the vehicle's location can be tracked while sensors detecting any trace elements of explosives, IED (Improvised Explosive Device) materials, WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction), biochemical materials, drugs, or any form of contraband can be monitored from a safe distance. In the case of a vehicle or moving target, the vehicle may then be disabled from a safe distance if sensors detect any abnormality in the targeted vehicle's payload.

摘要: A tracking unit for assisting in the recovery of stolen monies or other property includes a housing containing a GPS receiver for receiving GPS signals from overhead satellites, a cellular phone transceiver, a microprocessor, and a battery. Following a theft, the microprocessor activates the cellular phone transceiver to dial the telephone number of a central monitoring station. The microprocessor obtains location data from the GPS receiver and transmits the location data, along with identification information, to the central monitoring station. The tracking unit also includes a separate, conventional RF beacon transmitter for allowing authorities to home-in on the tracking unit within a large building or other structure, either after the GPS signals are lost, or after the location of the tracking unit is localized to a specific building or area.
