摘要： The present invention relates to a processing system and method for processing photographic material. The processing system and method of the invention is adapted to recover water from humid air for reuse in the processor, as well as convert a liquid waste processing solution into a dry waste for disposal. In the system and method of the present invention, heated air is circulated through the processor and comes into contact with a cold surface to condense the heated air. The water resulting from this contacting of the heated air with the cold surface can be collected and recycled back to the processor for reuse in the processor. Further, waste solution can be absorbed by a matting material appropriately placed in the processor which evaporates the waste solution to a solid waste for subsequent disposal.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for processing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing silver iodide with a processing solution having fixing ability after developing the light-sensitive material. The object of the present invention is to speed up the fixing process in the foregoing method and to reduce the amount of waste liquor from the fixing process. The present invention is characterized in that the processing with the processing solution having fixing ability is performed while the processing solution is brought into contact with an anion-exchange resin and that 20 to 2,000 l of the processing solution per liter of the anion-exchange resin is brought into contact with the resin.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for bleaching a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing silver iodobromide after color-developing it. The object of the present invention is to speed up the bleaching treatment in the aforesaid method and to reduce the amount of waste liquor from the bleaching treatment. The present invention is characterized in that the bleaching is performed in the presence of a bleaching accelerator and that it is carried out while a bleaching solution is brought into contact with an anion-exchange resin.

摘要： Ferricyanide and/or ferrocyanide ions are effectively removed from waste photographic treating solutions by contacting the solutions with weakly basic anion exchange resins. Improved results are obtained with the free base form of the weakly basic anion exchange resin when contacting takes place in the presence of a compound having a buffering action at a pH of 7 to 9, e.g., in the presence of boric acid, metaboric acid or a water soluble borate. Upon regeneration of the anion exchange resin the eluted ions can be reused as a photographic processing solution, e.g., a bleaching solution, with the addition of make up components.
