    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for bleaching a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing silver iodobromide after color-developing it. The object of the present invention is to speed up the bleaching treatment in the aforesaid method and to reduce the amount of waste liquor from the bleaching treatment. The present invention is characterized in that the bleaching is performed in the presence of a bleaching accelerator and that it is carried out while a bleaching solution is brought into contact with an anion-exchange resin.

    摘要: An apparatus for regenerating a spent photograhic bleach-fixer solution, comprising (a) an electrodialysis cell including a cathode, an anode and alternating anion exchange membranes and cation exchange membranes arranged therebetween to define a cathode compartment, a plurality of alternating intermediate enionation and deionation compartments and an anode compartment, (b) an electrolysis cell connected to the enionation compartments of the electrodialysis cell so that an aqueous solution capable of dissolving silver salts can be circulated between the electrolysis cell and the enionation compartments, (c) a circulating tank for the spent bleach-fixer solution connected to the deionation compartments and the anode compartment of the electrodialysis cell for circulating the spent bleach-fixer solution between the circulating tank and both the deionation compartments and the anode compartment, and (d) a circulating tank for an electrolyte solution connected to the cathode compartment of the electrodialysis cell for circulating the electrolyte solution between the circulating tank and the cathode compartment; and a method for regenerating a spent photographic bleach-fixer solution using aforesaid apparatus.

    摘要: Ferricyanide and/or ferrocyanide ions are effectively removed from waste photographic treating solutions by contacting the solutions with weakly basic anion exchange resins. Improved results are obtained with the free base form of the weakly basic anion exchange resin when contacting takes place in the presence of a compound having a buffering action at a pH of 7 to 9, e.g., in the presence of boric acid, metaboric acid or a water soluble borate. Upon regeneration of the anion exchange resin the eluted ions can be reused as a photographic processing solution, e.g., a bleaching solution, with the addition of make up components.
