    摘要: A card, or a seal, with a picture includes a sheet with an image transferred to an image receiving layer coated on a transparent sheet in a heat-transferring manner, and a sheet-like base material to which the image receiving layer is to be attached with an adhesive layer.The card or the seal is made by a method which includes the steps of forming a mirror image of an original in the photosensitive layer of a photosensitive material superposing the sheet formed with the image on an image receiving layer of an image receiving sheet so as to superpose the photosensitive layer on and adhere the photosensitive layer to an image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet, and heat-developing and heat transferring the image in the photosensitive layer onto the image receiving layer. Then, photographic material is removed from the image receiving sheet, and the image receiving sheet is put on the sheet-like base material so as to superpose the image receiving layer on and adhere the image receiving layer to the sheet-like base material through an adhesive layer. Finally, the supporting sheet is removed from the image receiving sheet.

    摘要: A photo-identification card comprises a plastic laminate permanently encasing a photographically-exposable film chip that is developable by a single processing fluid. The laminate includes a core spacer having a compartment for receiving the chip with the spacer surrounding substantially the entire edge perimeter of the chip. Transparent cover panels, fused to the spacer by plastic-to-plastic bonds, physically protect the chip while permitting exposure and viewing through the laminate. Access ports are provided leading from the exterior of the laminate to the compartment for delivering the processing fluid to the chip.

    摘要: An image-receiving element, adapted to the production of a diffusion transfer photograph adhesively bondable to a substrate material, comprises first and second separable sheet-like support members adhesively bonded to one another by a layer of adhesive therebetween, the adhesivity of the first sheet-like support to the adhesive layer being less than the adhesivity of the second sheet-like support to the adhesive and less than the cohesivity of the adhesive layer. The second sheet-like support member carries on the side thereof opposed from the adhesive layer at least a water-permeable and dyeable image-receiving layer which receives a photographic dye image by diffusion transfer processing. Subsequent to diffusion transfer processing, the first sheet-like member carrying the photographic image is separated from the second sheet-like member with the adhesive layer being preferentially adhered to the opposed side of the second sheet-like member, thereby to provide a diffusion transfer photograph which is adhesively bondable to a substrate material for the enhancement of the decorative or information content thereof.
