    摘要: A control system for controlling an industrial robot including a manipulator. The control system includes a plurality of modules adapted to handle various functions. A first of the modules is a drive module adapted to control the motors driving the movements of the manipulator. A second of the modules is a main computer module adapted to execute a program with instructions for the movements of the manipulator and to plan the movements of the manipulator based on the executed instructions. The control system is adapted to communicate with one or more external devices via an external network. The control system includes an internal network. Each of the modules is arranged as a node in the internal network and includes communication elements for communicating with the other nodes in the internal network. The internal network includes a first part adapted for normal communication and a second part adapted for time critical communication. The main computer module is arranged as a node in both the first and second parts of the internal network and the drive unit is arranged as a node in the second part of the internal network.

    摘要: An apparatus for detecting manufacturing parameters of a machine tool is provided, which comprises at least a sensing and transmitting module, and a receiving module. The sensing and transmitting module has a sensor and a wireless transmitting module. The sensor generates a sensing signal with respect to processing parameter of the machine tool. The wireless transmitting module converts the sensing signal into a wireless signal and transmits the wireless signal to the receiving module. Then the wireless signal is decoded and sent to a processing unit for compensating the machine tool. In the present invention, it is not necessary to consider wiring arrangement so that the sensors can be disposed at positions that are close to the mechanism whose operating status could affect the machining process and the compensation, generated according to the foregoing sensing data, for machine tool will be more effective to improve the machining accuracy.

    摘要: An expansion of known serial data links, for example ETHERNET, published in IEEE802.3, for directly transmitting random events without having to carry out synchronization with a clock signal or having to wait for a cyclical transmission time. Two different, random events are represented using two differently coded individual pulses and are transmitted in an event-controlled manner. A jitter-free latency of 45 ns between the event and its reception is possible over a line length of 8 m, for example. The expansion is particularly suitable for the short, digital data links between a node and a plurality of modules, as are required in modern electrical discharge machines, machine tools and similar electronic systems.
