摘要： Color is added to the standard video display (18) of a computer numerical control system for controlling the operation of a machine tool (10) in the performance of specified operations with respect to a workpiece. Color assignment records (62) are included in the machine setup data (MSD) source file (54) for implementing background color, reverse video color, forms character color, data character color, errors and/or alarm color, operator required response color, and high-lite color. The MSD source file (54) is processed to generate a binary MSD file (56) which is then read into the numerical control basic (NC) software (24) which operates to generate both text and graphic displays. The original or default color assignments may be dynamically modified or changed through an MSD file editor (58). Additionally, the background color and data character color are programmed to change to other colors to bring the operator's attention to an error or alarm condition through the machine control logic (MCL) (28) which generates calls through a software interface (26) to the NC software (24).

摘要： A method of designing the appearance of an article having steps of creating a digital file of a design configuration for an article, representing the design configuration on a computer screen, selecting or creating a color for a coating composition to be applied to the article, generating color data for the created color, merging the color data with the digital file of the design configuration, and displaying on the computer screen an image of the article coated with the colored coating composition. Accurate calibration of the color of the article on a computer screen allows for production of coated articles based on the generated color data. The color data is further transmitted to a formulation computer that determines the formulation for a coating composition exhibiting the color data. Output from the formulation computer may be directly transmitted to a production facility for coating articles with the coating composition.

摘要： A method of displaying a figure on the screen of a CRT of an NC system so that an operator can easily confirm whether or not a machining locus which is formed by a machining path of a wire electrode in a wire cut electric discharge machining apparatus during an operation of machining a workpiece to he machined according to an NC program, includes a closed loop machining path. The closed loop may cause undesired deformation of the workpiece finally machined. With such an NC controlled machining system, an accurate correction for the machining locus can be accomplished with ease, and therefore the machining apparatus is high in reliability and operability.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a method of controlling a numerically controlled machine tool comprising the steps of classifying cutting tools and machining order for the respective machining patterns determined in response to the final machining contour of a workpiece machined by a numerically controlled machine tool like a machining center, for example in case of the final machining contour with a counter bore and a tap, the cutting tools and machining order of centering--drilling--end milling for a counter bore and centering--drilling--tapping for a tap, by the unit of machining patterns; storing the classification in the numerically controlled machine tool; reading, during machining of the workpiece, a unit of machining patterns corresponding to the machining contour of the workpiece on a display unit; machining the workpiece with numerical information as to each machining patterns entered in the numerically controlled machine tool; and displaying the machining process conditions on the display unit.
